Ralph Lauren releases his newest fragrance, Midnight Romance, in light of all springtime’s passionate desires. Pink peony and black vanilla create a modern contradiction, which is fitting due to Ralph Lauren‘s understanding of feminine sensitivity and beauty that is staged through his world of fashion.

A floriental fragrance, Midnight Romance combines an exhilarating mix of raspberry, jasmine, ambrox and iris absolute. It’s a refreshing scent with a heavy undertone of passion, which was conceived since the fragrance’s inception.” — Ron Robinson, Cosmetic Chemist/BeautyStat Founder | Follow Ron on Twitter @RonRobinson

Alien Eau Extraordinaire from the Thierry Mugler Collection was created to transfer the feeling of tranquility and happiness to all women. This refillable bottle emits authority with its curvature design, all while housing the Tiare flower scent, warmed up with white amber for a well-rounded, lingering aroma that is more mature than sprightly. It’s definitely the perfect fragrance for the woman who is coming into her own.”

Avon’s latest fragrance, Femme, adds a touch of elegance to this sophisticated scent. A combination of jasmine and magnolia are married with the sensual essence of amberwoods and soft peach skin — a truly glamorous and classic scent to be had! The aroma lingers with light florals sprinkled with a sparkling freshness you’ll just have to smell for yourself.”

“The closet thing to owning a bountiful garden this spring can be found in the Aerin fragrance collection which includes: Gardenia Rattan, Lilac Path, Amber Musk, Ikat Jasmine and Evening Rose. The smooth, earthy stones found on the top of the bottles lend a rawness that encapsulates the essence of these fragrances. Ikat Jasmine has a touch of honeysuckle and sandalwood to balance out the pure floral intensity. Mix and match to create your own aroma bouquet.”

“I’ve always adored Ashley Olsen’s style, so it’s a no-brainer that her debut fragrance, Elizabeth And James Nirvana Black, is my ultimate springtime pick! Sensual violet, sandalwood and vanilla strike the perfect balance of masculine and feminine — combining all my favorite notes into one perfectly sexy and classic scent I’ll be wearing for years to come. And the studded black bottle with gold accents is so cool, just like Ashley” — Theresa Romano, Managing Editor | Follow Theresa on Twitter @there_esa; Instagram @there_esa

“For a fragrance that’s more romantic than your favorite rom-com, the DESIGUAL Love scent turns up the flirty playfulness with juicy notes of cranberry, black currant and orange blossom. I love spraying this darling beauty on all of those lovely spring days, or when I’m pretending that I’m Ryan Gosling’s next leading lady. The lightweight yet pungent finish is just great.”

“Back in high school, I was super-addicted to Nicole Richie’s reality smash-hit The Simple Life. So it’s pretty cool to check out her second fragrance, NO RULES. Laced with adventurous notes such as sweet Turkish almond blossom, purple jasmine and Brazilian coconut water, this scent truly satisfies that free-spirit we all know you got locked away somewhere.” — Courtney Leiva, Beauty Editor | Follow Courtney on Twitter @CourtneyLeiva

“I love a fragrance with a story. Especially a story that hasn’t even begun yet. Bond No. 9 Hudson Yards is about fresh, new beginnings, with a scent that is a luminous melange of dewy petals piled upon petals.

Top notes of lily of the valley mingle with fresh and innocent freesia and piquant pink peppercorns, while a dewy floral bouquet of peony buds and Bulgarian rose blend well with woodsy-citrusy orange flower, iris absolute and white musk. The chartreuse bottle is absolutely GORGEOUS, along with its matching cloth flower blossom. This is the ultimate spring fragrance for me!”

“I can’t choose just one of these affordable scents from Love2Love — the private label fragrance collection from Coty Beauty, sold exclusively at Walmart! When I want to feel ultra-girly, I spritz on Orange Blossom White Musk. And when I want to bring out fun-time Diane, a few pumps of Jasmine Sparkling Mimosa does the trick. I’ll be packing my nieces’ Easter baskets with these fresh scents, and also keep mom in mind for her big day in May.” — Diane Rankin, SVP | Follow Diane on Twitter @socialposse; Instagram @deedeerankin

The Balenciaga Rosabotanica Eau De Parfum immediately made me feel rosy and whimsical. It’s a strong floral scent — as if the gorgeous bottle is any indication– and has a nice kick to it. The notes are blue hyacinth, fig leaf, rose and grapefruit, which makes it perfect for spring. After a while, the fragrance transforms into a soft yet spicy scent, which is probably because of the pink pepper notes in it as well. I wore this one out for an event with my girlfriends and they all gave it two thumbs up!

Kat Burki Tubéreuse Essential Eau de Parfum is a soothing and comforting scent where floral meets tangy. The top notes are green, bergamot, peach nectar and orange, which pretty much sums up why I love how fresh yet crisp this scent is. The first day I wore it, I received several compliments from co-workers. The scent lasted all day, which I was totally thrilled about because I love when a perfume has staying power. As a second-generation beauty girl, I also let my mom try it on for the day and she loved it, too. — Nicole Marie Melton, Beauty Editor | Follow Nicole on Twitter @NicoleMMelton; Instagram @nicolemmelton

“The Marc Jacobs DAISY Eau So Fresh definitely brings me back to high school. It reminds me of a scent discontinued long ago, but I can’t put my finger on it. It starts out a vibrant fruity floral, then dries down to a sexy musk. Imagine school girl by day, Lolita by night. Since I am out of high school I think I’m allowed to feel sexy. I also love the whimsical bottle. The flowers bring to mind swimming caps in the ‘60s! Definitely a fragrance for anyone who has a cheeky side to them!” — Erin Sutera, Senior Beauty Editor & Makeup Artist | Follow Erin on Twitter @erinlee24

Bottega Veneta’s Essence Aromatique is a unisex fragrance that captures some of my favorite scents like coriander, vanilla, sandalwood and patchouli. The blend of these scents create a fresh and floral fragrance; picture a bouquet of flowers and powder. The first spray can be a little intimidating, but once it dries down it is so refreshing. It’s long-lasting and does not fade throughout the day. Perfect since I go from work to school!” — Nicole Iannitti, Makeup Artist | Visit her website at www.eyelovecosmetics.com

Nest Paradise is a sweet, floral, fresh, but vibrant and very potent daytime fragrance. Initially, you are hit with a burst of ginger-citrus and sophisticated notes of cedarwood. But it airs out to a very light, yet alluring, floral scent. Perfect for the office!”

Nest Indigo is a sophisticated, exotic scent. Perfect for evening, it is sexy and mysterious without being too musky. Envelop yourself in sexy hints of Moroccan tea, wild fig, kashmir wood and black amber. This is definitely a great first date option!” — Yevgeniya Yelkina, Beauty Editor | Follow Yevy on Instagram at @yyelkina

Marc Jacobs ‘Daisy Delight’ Eau de Toilette (Limited Edition) comes in a beautiful flowered bottle; the front and back of the bottle are equally as pretty. I thought the smell was very pleasant, combining apple, gardenia and sandalwood together in an unexpected way. Upon closing my eyes, it made me think of flowers right off the bat. If you are looking for a new fragrance to bring in the spring season, this will look wonderful in your collection and smell great on you as well.” — Deanna Perl, Beauty Editor | Follow Deanna on Twitter @DEANNAWAWA BeautyStat.com's Beauty Editor Spring Fragrance Round-Up - The 17 Best Spring 2014 Perfume Scents #bstat

“I am a huge fan of See By Chloé, so I was pretty pumped to get my hands on the NEW See By Chloé Eau Fraîche. It’s not as sweet as the original, and ‘suggests the freshness of a blooming flower.’ This is a green floral, so don’t be scared to try it if you normally like citrus scents. Notes of water hyacinth, apple blossom, bright jasmine and vetiver absolutely scream spring! It’s a very light, airy fragrance. You’ll need to reapply throughout the day if you’re the type who likes her perfume to stay noticeable.” — Mandie Williams, Beauty Editor | Follow Mandie on Twitter @mandiethekid & Instagram @KIDWILLIAMS
