The Carol’s Daughter brand has been all over the beauty news lately. Some fans of the company are upset about the recent L’Oréal USA buyout. I for one think it’s great news. Lisa Price, the owner, will still be very involved in creating the products. I think it’s a win-win with Lisa still at the helm with the backing from one of the largest cosmetic and beauty giants out there. The sky is the limit for Carol’s Daughter!

I recently tried 2 of her NEW! Marula (Curl Therapy) line of products: Marula (Curl Therapy) Diffusing & Styling Lotion (5.0 fl oz $20.00) and Marula Curl Therapy Softening Serum (2.0 fl oz $18.00). I love the simple design of the packaging and the list of 3 main ingredients found in the product and what they do for your hair: The Diffusing & Styling Lotion had a great fresh, natural smell: Marula Oil restores, Almond Oil Moisturizes, Vegetable Protein defines. The Softening Serum smelled fresh and clean as well: Marula Oil Restores, Rose Oil Soothes, Almond Oil moisturizes.

The products definitely delivered the list of benefits that were promised. After use, my hair felt unbelievably soft. I used both products together as it seemed that they would complement each other — and they did! I don’t usually wear my hair naturally wavy, but with these products it looked great! My waves ended up looking and feeling unbelievably soft. As an added bonus, the products contain no parabens, no petroleums, no mineral oil and no artificial colors. I think Carol’s Daughter will continue to make great natural products that make your hair look fantastic.
