Review, Swatches: Butter London ElectraLash Colour Amplifying Mascaras, Smoke Stick Smoky Eyeshadow Duos

I’ve always heard great things about butter LONDON, but have never tried products from the brand. When I received new butter LONDON items to review, I was so excited to try them out, especially the ElectraLash Colour Amplifying Mascaras and Smoke Sticks!

I tried the ElectraLash Colour Amplifying Mascara, $15 in three shades: Inky Six (cobalt blue), Indigo Punk (shimmering violet), and Starlight (glittery gold). I found that $15 was not a bad price point at all for a high-end mascara!

My favorite way to use colored mascaras is to apply them on the lower lash line for a nice pop of color that is both work and school appropriate. Inky Six and Indigo Punk are bright and intense where Starlight has a more subtle effect. I did not experience any flaking or fallout from these mascaras, which is great! The brush is really fabulous as well. In the photograph, I am wearing Indigo Punk on my lower lash line. It really makes my lashes stand out!

My favorite of these two products are the Smoke Sticks, $20 each. I have these in four shades: Night Shift (black and gold), Buzz Worthy (brown and champagne), Posh Paradise (purple tones), and Flash Fusion (green and rose). In the photo, I used Night Shift. I used the gold shade on my lid and the black as liner on my water line.

I absolutely love these Smoke Sticks; they do not crease or budget at all. They are very pigmented as you can see from the swatches. The Smoke Sticks are creamy, but they set to a nice finish and don’t move on you throughout the day. I could see using the deeper shades as a base for smokey eyeshadow looks.

Overall, I am very pleased with these products from butter LONDON. I am definitely intrigued to check out some more of their products available in their line, including their nail polishes that I hear so much about! Take a trip over to www.butterlondon.com and check out these products! I guarantee you will be just as impressed as I am.
