I tried a few of the colors and was surprised that my absolute favorite ended up being a super bright Barbie pink shade called Matte For Me. I usually shy away from pinks, but this is not my go-to color! Applying is a breeze, it’s almost like using a crayon to color onto your lips. I wore it out for brunch with my girlfriends recently and it lasted all afternoon, with only one or two touch ups. The formula is in fact very matte but you can always apply your favorite gloss over it.

Rose Illuminator enhances yellow, peachy, pink or blue tones in neutral skintones. Ice Illuminator enhances pink or blue tones in cool skintones. Keep in mind that a little bit goes a long way. I made the mistake of applying too much at first and realized that all you really need is a small amount to accentuate features. This product is amazing for a natural glow especially as the weather gets colder!

This red is more than your average lip shade—it’s bold, iconic, curated richness that glides on for a soft matte finish. The shades are inpsired by women including Blake Lively, Julianne Moore, and Freida Pinto. Not only was I impressed with the range of shades but the formula is such a great quality, but I’d expect nothing less from L’Oreal.
