(Review) Leonor Greyl’s Lait Luminescence Bi-Phase Leave In Hair Detangler

Every beautifying process has its pros and cons. Facials give you glowing, smooth skin, but to get there, you might have to endure a bit of red, blotchy skin for a day or two. Manicures produce shiny, flashy nails, but you’ve got to inhale those sometimes-nasty fumes to reach the end of the rainbow. Then there’s shampooing. Yes, this process delivers squeaky-clean strands, but it can also create tangled, hard-to-comb locks. And when you’ve got a head full of thick, curly hair like I do, combing post-shower becomes a bit more of a challenge.

Leonor Greyl Lait-Luminescence Bi Phase Hair Detangler

So when I got sent a bottle of Leonor Greyl’s Lait Luminescence Bi-Phase, I was pretty excited to test it out. This leave-in, detangling product has smoothing properties and can also be used before sun exposure due to its protective properties. Call it the adult version of children’s hair detanglers, if you want.

After showering, I sprayed a bit of Lait Luminescence into my tangled locks and braced myself for disappointment. I have to admit, I’m sometimes a bit of a skeptic when it comes to certain products. We’ve all used those “miracle creams” and “magical sprays” that ended up disappointing us, so I was ready for that experience again.

But as soon as I started brushing, I immediately noticed a difference in the manageability of my hair. My hair was much easier to detangle and felt a lot smoother to the touch. And I can’t say for sure that the product was the sole source of the new shine in my hair, but it certainly has been looking a bit shinier lately!

Was it a miracle cure? Nope. My hair wasn’t perfectly tangle-free or star shine worthy. BUT it was a heck of a lot more manageable and smoother to the brush. Compared with my fingers, Lait Luminescence seemed like a much quicker and efficient detangler.

Would I recommend the product? Well at $43, the price is a bit steep. If you’re not willing to spend that much, you could find some cheaper alternatives. But if you have the money to spare and are looking for a more natural product to speed up the hair process, go for it, ladies!
