This collection is limited edition and currently available through Karl Lagerfeld stores and Karl.com, plus ModelCo’s website modelco.com. The products combine ModelCo’s high-quality formulas and innovative, technical packaging with Karl Lagerfeld’s artistic aesthetic that is sophisticated, modern, and cool. Challenging the theme of “Illuminated Beauty,” the collection includes more than 50 products for face, eyes, and lips – plus accessories!

Liquid Luminizer Strobing Pen | $33.00

Click, flick, glow! The ultimate pick-me-up for tired eyes and dull skin. This Liquid Luminizer Strobing Pen is enriched with super fine, easy-to-blend liquid shimmer particles that capture and reflect light. A built-in brush applicator allows for precision application and intensity-controlled illumination to add radiance just where you want it. The self-filling brush tip can be used to brighten inner corners of eyes and target cupid’s bow to make lips appear full and lush. This product comes in three different shades – Nude Pink, Opal and Bronze.

Here’s a closer look at the brush-tip applicator. The shade that I have this product in is Nude Pink. It’s a champagne shade which offers a lovely candlelit glow to the cheekbones. I also have tried mixing a little bit of this in with my matte foundations and it gives a gorgeous, healthy glow to the skin without making you appear overly-oily or anything like that. The formula is nice, blends into the skin with ease, and doesn’t remove any products you might have already applied underneath it, like foundation, powders, or blushes. I found this didn’t accentuate any fine lines or scars either. Great product!

Long-Lasting Liquid Liner + Karl Beauty Stamp | $30.00

Make your mark! This dual-ended liner features a super fine, water-resistant, felt-tip liner for precision application while the other is topped with a playful body-art stamp of Karl Lagerfeld. The liner allows for versatility in application – from a thin, sharp line to a megawatt wing. The longwearing formula glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling. Furthermore, it dries quickly for a waterproof finish that won’t smudge, run, or feather throughout the day.

I actually really enjoy this product (even though as I’ve said before, I’m not the best with liquid liners). I found it easy to achieve a thin line along the lash line and the felt-tip is firm but not too firm. It hugs the contours of the eye nicely to allow for a precise application. The tip of the pen holds just enough product and the liquid liner stays in place all day. I experienced zero smudging, smearing, or fading, even though my eyes tend to water a bit right now due to allergies. I’ll continue to use and love this product! I would recommend this if you’re a fan of liquid liners for sure.

Lip Lights Gloss | $35.00

Here’s a look at the back of the product. There’s a built-in mirror so you can apply this product with ease anywhere. The built-in light also aids with that as well!

Here’s a photo of the product open so you can see the light automatically turns on when you untwist the cap. The shade I have this lip gloss in is called Karl 7 – it’s definitely up my alley and the perfect “your lips, but better” shade.

Here’s a photo of the wand. It’s easy to apply the color precisely where you want it. I found the formula to be super smooth, creamy, not sticky at all, and very comfortable. The high-shine is gorgeous and does wear off after a while, but unlike many other glosses, this gloss actually left color lingering around for a while. It also has a very nice fruity scent to it! You will of course experience transfer onto cups and things that like, since it’s a traditional gloss and not a long wear liquid lipstick. I don’t mind it at all though! Plus the packaging is SUPER cute.
