Rhyme & Reason Nourish & Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner

Rhyme & Reason is an eco-friendly hair care brand I recently tried. They are as passionate about the planet as they are about having amazing hair! The specific products I tried were the Nourish & Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner. The formula is 96% naturally derived and formulated for hair seeking a healthy, smooth, and glowing finish.

The products are blending with coconut water to enhance essential hydration, wild rosella flower, and hyaluronic acid to help soothe and nourish the scalp. The formula detangles and soften the hair so its easy to comb through, plus it leaves your hair feeling smooth and super soft. The products are lightly fragranced with peach, cherry, almond, rose, coconut, and vanilla. And – everything is packaged in Rhyme & Reason’s eco-friendly 100% recycled bottles and caps!

The best part is that these are clean products – so they are free from sulfates, parabens, colorants, and mineral oil. They are also totally vegan and cruelty free. These products are dermatologist approved and suitable for normal hair types looking for a healthy, smooth, and naturally glowing finish.

Rhyme & Reason also has other lines of shampoo and conditioner to suit other hair care needs and hair types. The Nourish & Gloss formula is the only formula that I’ve tried, and I have to say it’s really nice if you’re looking for a clean shampoo and conditioner. I haven’t tried a whole ton of clean shampoo and conditioners. One thing I do notice is that the shampoo does not suds up as much as a traditional shampoo, but even with the lack of suds, it has no problem cleansing your tresses. The conditioner is very hydrating. Everything rinses away super easily. The one draw back is that I found the packaging a little hard to squeeze the product out of because it’s very sturdy.

For the price point of $8.99 each, these are really affordable eco-friendly products. If you’re trying to get your feet wet with eco-friendly hair care products, or if you’re simply looking to try a new eco-friendly hair care line, I’d definitely recommend giving these a shot! I was thoroughly impressed. The scent is light and does linger on your hair, but it isn’t overpowering or super perfume-y.
