"I received this product from BeautyStat in exchange for my honest review. The pump is easy to use and keeps the product air tight. This is so lightweight and feels powdery when applied. This leaves no show appearance wise on the skin really. Except perhaps to make the skin look more refined. I use this a bedtime so I don't how it may be to layer under makeup. I absolutely know it has diminished some of the discoloration on my skin. I haven't experienced any skin irritation from using this. I would definitely recommend this."

Why does this skin refiner pill on my cleansed dry skin? I have forgone applying any of my other serums thinking the pilling came from using them before the skin refiner. Same pilling result though.: Hi.. so sorry.. Can you try not to over rub the product. Smooth on then tap it in rather than over rubbing. Do the same with the moisturizer that you apply over it.

What is the pH and can it be used with a BHA toner? What should the order of application be?: Hi Sara, our Universal C Skin Refiner is a waterless formula therefore there is no pH. There is no issue with using our vitamin C serum with a BHA toner. Apply toner first, followed by Universal C Skin Refiner and a moisturizer such as our Universal Pro-Bio Moisture Boost Cream immediately after.
Is Universal C Skin Refiner safe for sensitive skin?: Hi Cindy, yes! Our Universal C Skin Refiner has been dermatologist tested and approved for all skin types including sensitive. You may be prone to feeling more of a tingling sensation upon application due to the high 20% concentration of L-ascorbic acid. Just follow immediately with a soothing moisturizer such as our Universal Pro-Bio Moisture Boost Cream which should dissipate the feeling immediately.
