MCMC Fragrances is a beautiful fragrance line started by two sisters, Anne and Katie McClain. The duo started the company in 2009 dedicated to creating a beautiful product line with the highest quality natural ingredients. Anne studied the art of perfumery and aromatherapy in Grasse, the perfume capital in the south of France. She learned the history, techniques, and practices of modern perfumery which she brought to MCMC. The family owned business is based in Brooklyn, NY where they carefully craft and batch each bottle by hand. Clive Christian Noble VII Rock Rose: This perfume is a modern interpretation of a classically styled fougére scent. The top notes of the perfume consist of a blend of citrus oils centered on the rich warmth of bergamot, black pepper and a touch of neroli. The heart revolves around the fusion of lavender, violet, herbs and the rich character of rock rose. The base is a combination of dark cocoa and patchouli with amber and a touch of sparkling vetiver to complement the citrus accord on top.
Clive Christian Noble VII Cosmos Flower: This feminine, yet complex perfume gives depth to the modern gourmand genre of fragrance. A blend of sweet benzoin and caramel in the base is given a Chypre twist with bitter cocoa, dry amber and leather. To replicate the rich aroma of the cosmos flower, natural cocoa has been used in the heart, adding a dark bitter edge to the perfume.
