This is a fun study that Goody (yes, the makers of those gorgeously affordable pins and barrettes) conducted in the UK.
Apparently blondes spend more time getting ready for a night out than brunettes. Who knew that lighter stresses translated into more prep time? 3,000 women were polled, and apprently blondes will take 72 minutes a day on their beauty routine compared to 66 minutes for brunettes.
Also, apparently brunettes are more likely to leave the house without any of their hair and make up being done. But apparently they DO have more fun…
So if you’re a strawberry blonde, I guess you spend the entire day getting ready, and if you’re completely black haired (like me) you tend to roll Bed Head style. I’m tending to agree, since I rarely do any touch ups to my hair and end up looking like some ravaged version of black-haired Barbie.
But heck, I DO have my fun 🙂
