As we are seeing more and more blow-dry boutiques popping up all over cities, no other was founded by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe.

Rachel Zoe and Robin Moraetes (formally from CAA and has worked on some of the largest brand launches known) put their minds together to create a new form of a blow-dry bar… DREAMDRY! And OMG, I loved every minute of my session!

My favorite stylist, Sonia, was waiting for me as I entered this sleek looking, luxurious salon that only does blow-outs and touch-ups; Oribe is the only brand used and the place is immaculate.

Everything is black and white, and get this: each station is equipped with iPhone 5 chargers, so I was actually able to charge my phone while I was getting my hair blown out.

I spent time with the co-owner, Robin Moraetes, and she was an absolute doll. February 14th was their opening day and they are also looking forward to opening another salon in Columbus Circle. Robin showed me the “menu” of styles, yet I was allowed to do my usual with my stylist of three years, Sonia. They are affordable, which was very exciting as some other salons are not cost effective for me, yet at $40 a blow-out, I can keep it for at least four days.

I booked online, which was as easy as 1, 2, 3 — and then received a ‘Thank You’ note from their concierge team. They even do fishtail braids and touch-ups for $20-$30, and styles such as the Ali, Audrey and Sophia. I am in hair heaven as I am so glad to have my stylist back as well as a welcoming salon to call my third home (second home being Sephora, of course).
