Review, Coupon, Before & After Photos: Aveeno Nourish + Volumize Shampoo For Fine, Limp, Fragile Hair

I must be hiding under a rock, because of course I had heard of Aveeno skin & body care products, but I did not know that Aveeno had a full hair care line. I recently tried Aveeno Nourish + Volumize Shampoo. This product is supposed to strengthen and add body to fine or limp hair. I don’t really have fine or limp hair but I decided to try it anyway to see if it could give me a little more volume than I already have.

The product comes in a 10.5 fl oz. plastic container with a push tab to easily open. The cap also twists off. This is especially helpful when you are trying to get the last drop of the shampoo out of the bottle.

Before using Aveeno Nourish + Volume Shampoo

I was first struck by its smell. It had a very flowery and earthy smell that I found quite enjoyable. It states right on the bottle that the shampoo is made with nourishing wheat complex and blue lotus flower which work to replenish moisture and protect fine, fragile hair.

The texture of the shampoo was like most other shampoos I tried. But the amount of lather it produced was over-the-top as my head was full of white bubbles. It washed out nicely and I was ready to style.

My hair did blow out well, but I really could not comment on if the shampoo worked as it claimed since I did not see significantly more volume. But I would have to admit if you have fine or limp hair, it’s a definite must try.

Retails for $6.49. Grade: B
