Review, Ingredients, Before/After: Kerastase Nutritive Bain, Fondant, Creme, Masque Magistral

Kerastase Nutritive’s tag line says it all: “The standard for ultimate hair nutrition.” This new line of products was created to help dry hair get the nutrition it lacks, restore the hair’s surface, and get your hair back to feeling silky and soft.

Kerastase is owned by Loreal. Loreal advanced research supports the brand worldwide. There are 700 scientists from 60 different nations that handle research and development of the products. They are tested at an evaluation center in Paris, that has 60 experts, 8000 volunteers, and conducts 50,000 tests per year to find the perfect formula for all hair types.

I have been a big fan of this brand and believe the research, resources and time they put into a product really shines through  in the final results.

I tried 4 products in the  new line. It is a 3 Step process of treatment.

Kerastase Nutritive Bain Magistral   250 ML $41.00

Kerastase Nutritive Fondant Magistral  200 ML $42.00

Kerastase Nutritive Creme Magistral  150 ML  $42.00

Kerastase Nutritive Masque Magistral  200 ML  $63.00

STEP 1: CLEANSE Kerastase Nutritive Bain Magistral Shampoo is made for dry to severely dry hair.  Simply massage it into dry hair and rinse. It is made to get impurities out of your hair and prepare it for the rest of the treatment. It promises to make hair soft, smooth, and give it added shine.

STEP 2:  TREAT Kerastase Nutritive Fondant Magistral Conditioner is also for dry to severely dry hair. Same directions as the shampoo, but leave in for 5-10 minutes, emulsify and rinse.  This detangles hair so it is easy to manage and also makes it softer, smoother and shinier.

STEP 3: PRIME Kerastase Nutritive Creme Magistral Balm is for dry to severely dry hair. This is to be used on washed and towel dried hair.  Massage into hair all the way to the ends, leave in, and style as desired.  After drying and styling, you can also use it on your hair to smooth it and create finishing touches. This adds more smoothness, shine and is lightweight and heat resistant.

Lastly, is Kerastase Nutritive Masque Magistral which is the masque for dry to severely dry hair.  It helps make the hair more manageable and less tangled. The product will also shine and smoothness to the hair. This is to be left in the hair for 5-10 minutes, emulsified, and rinsed.

Two of the key ingredients found in all of these products are ceramide and xyloseCeramide protects the hair fiber, while xylose acts as a heat protectant.

I used these products for a week and if my hair could talk it would say, “Thank you!”

I suffer from dry hair and after a week there was a huge difference.  All of the things that these products claim they do, they did!  My hair was softer, shinier and looked 100% more healthy.  I plan to continue using these products and suggest you should try them as well.
