(Review) Lierac Paris Debuts Huile Sensorielle Polysensory Oil for Face, Body, Hair

Multitasking has become the buzzword of the decade. We have lipsticks with SPF, tinted moisturizers that promise anti-aging benefits, and now, Lierac’s Huile Sensorielle Polysensory Oil that’s an aromatic journey for the face, body and hair.

The core philosophy behind this oil is that pure essential oils, when carefully and strategically blended, offer exquisite aromatic and hydration properties. This oil offers you a feast for the olfactory senses as soon as you uncork the cap. At first, you get a hint of floral (blame it on the white flowers…jasmine extract leaps to the top), and then you get whiffs of …a latte? Blame this note on the Hazelnut Oil extract.

The full blend consists of active ingredients that include Gardenia, Jasmine, Camellia, extracts, and Argan, Hazelnut, Sweet Almond and Grapeseed oils. This oil is meant to be used on dry or damp skin, hair and hair, and a great use for it would be to spill some in your bath water and indulge in a great muscle relaxing soak. Which we have yet to do, but it’s on our calendar.

I attended the press preview at the Style Coalition Lounge, a dreamy oasis that served polysensory cocktails to match the theme of Huile Sensorielle, chaired and curated by the incomparable Jenna Muller and Yuli Ziv. Here are some pictures from the event:

Why I particularly love this product is that it has complete healing benefits for several areas, and it’s great for travel because of its multitasking moisturizing properties. It’s pure and effective, and as Keats would say, a thing of beauty.

Huile Sensorielle retails for $34.
