Makeup Trends: William Tempest Spring Summer 2011 Fashion Week

BEAUTY TRENDS: FLAWLESS SKIN, CORAL EYE SHADES AND LIPS

The young British designer, William Tempest, has a very Shakespearean sound. It’s not surprising, therefore, that his Spring Summer 2011 collection was particularly mythic sounding: “The Sirens’ Song” played upon these mythical half women/half sea creatures who supposedly lured sailors and caused shipwrecks. The silhouettes of the party dresses were ethereal, yet body shaping. The color palette was inspired by things under the sea from coral, raspberry-pink and beige to yellow.
