Glamorous little elves everywhere will clamor for Armani’s Holiday Makeup Collection.
This season’s ‘must have’, the Gold Rush Palette is an all-over gold platinum highlighter that illuminates
the eyes, lips and skin with a touch of Armani elegance.

A soft, sheer beige, shimmering powder that lights up the face with an irresistible gold glow. The sleek,
pale gold and black lacquered signature compact adds a sophisticated touch to the collection.
Rouge d’Armani Gold Rush ($30)
The limited edition Rouge d’Armani lipsticks add a touch of soft shimmer to offset a dark smokey eyed
look.

While we have not tried these lipsticks and cannot vouch for the depth and intensity of the pigments, we love the colors (the Fuschia shade reminds us very strongly of MAC Cosmetics’ Petals and Peacocks from the “Temperly London” collection). These lipstick shades are as vivid as the extreme shades found in a Crayola Box, so pair the strong lip with a strong, smoky eye, and a soft, elegant and almost teenager-inspired pony tail. It’s the holiday season upon us, after all, so why not add a touch of sparkle with a beaded headband or jeweled bobby pins? Comparing this to the compacts and shades from the fall collection, we’re seeing that the emphasis is indeed on the deeper, darker lip (especially the red) this holiday season.
