Beauty and fashion always mix. The hottest trend on the market continues to be temporary tattoos! They are everywhere and perfect for adorning your body. NARS recently introduced their own collection of black, tribal temporary tattoos. Even Beyoncé has been a longtime fan of the look and was most recently seen sporting a thigh tat in her latest “Feeling Myself” video. These aren’t your glitter unicorn tattoos from the 90s.
Goldnine Ink tattoos have become style staples and a beautiful form of body jewelry. They are a line of safe and non-toxic metallic temporary tattoos, that reflect jewelry – appropriate for any occasion and social situation. Created by East Indian designer Shaily Savla, the tattoos reflect the beautiful concepts of henna artistry in Indian culture. Goldnine’s fans wear the tattoos mixed with henna art as a modern translation of traditional Mehndi trends. The collections are fun and affordable, ranging from $9- $22 for a set.
To use: Simply cut out a portion of the tattoo that you wish to apply. Remove the plastic over it and place the tattoos face down on dry skin. Tap the back with a wet washcloth or paper towel. Keep wet for about 20 seconds. Finally, peel the paper off.
Your tattoos will last from 4 – 6 days depending on placement of them- but if you want to remove sooner, just rub a little oil and it will scrub right off.
