These women were prevalent during the Mod era — and this look is making a comeback. Read on to find out how to get a modern and everyday eye look with the same idea.

Step 1: Line both upper lash lines with the brown eyeliner pencil from inner corner to outer corner.

Step 2: Add a flick to the outer corners. It is easiest to follow the natural direction of the lower lash line to get the perfect flick.

Step 3: To reinforce the liner, use the eyeliner brush and soft, matte dark chocolate brown shade in a patting motion over the liner.

Step 4: Draw a line in the crease of your eye with the brown liner.

Step 5: Using the soft, matte brown shade and the crease brush, blend out the line. We want it to be defined, but the modern look is slightly diffused at the edges.

Step 6: To intensify the line a little more, use the crease brush to add more of the soft, matte dark chocolate brown shade. Concentrate the color in the original spot you applied the brown eyeliner.

Step 7: Line the bottom lash line with the soft, matte chocolate brown using the eyeliner brush.

Step 8: Apply the beige eyeliner on the inner rim of the eye. Back in the ‘60s they used to use a white eyeliner; we used beige, which isn’t as harsh.

Step 9: Curl your lashes — pump close to you lash line for 20-seconds. Then, continue to walk your way up your lashes; pumping each time. Add LOTS of mascara!!

Step 10: Apply your foundation.

Step 11: Use your blush brush to apply the loose powder; concentrating in areas where you feel you get more oily.

Step 12: Use your blush brush again and apply blush to the apples of your cheeks.

Step 13: Last step! Lips!
