MAC Cosmetics Cham Pale Video, Swatches and Review

I’m sure many MAC fans remember with great fondness, the Warm & Cozy Collection from 2009. How phenomenal was that line? I LOVED it and still have special pieces from that collection I swear by, even today.

In time for winter, MAC Cosmetics has unveiled its very special Cham Pale (a pun on “champagne”) collection that not only has cuvee-inspired color offerings but skincare treats as well. Our vlogger, Nat Neagle, has given you a very thorough walk through of her collection favorites in the video below:

MAC Cham Pale Collection

Everything about this collection addresses the sparkle of the holiday season: there are lip gelees with sparkle, frosted lipsticks, nail lacquers with a touch of iridescence and highlighting powders that look like crinkled paper…JOY!

The skincare component of this collection addresses….you guessed it…hydration. From the redness reducing comfort cream to the lavender- scented lip conditioner, each piece is a skincare work of art.

The names in this collection give me the goose bumps too. They invoke such a Narnia Snow Queen image: the “Caviar Dreams” eye shadow is a lovely darker frosty shade to remind you of overcast wintry days; the lipstick in “Flustered” is a soft bronze frosty shade that will give your face a muted, yet impactful look; the Paint Pot called “Chilled on Ice” is for the ice maiden in you.

I also love that this collection works well for darker skins too, because the frosty shades come alive on chocolate brown skin. Take a look:
