Ever since I saw the “Coming Soon” sign at the Benefit gondola while perusing my local Sephora, I could not wait to sample the new Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer ($32.00).

I am a HUGE fan of the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 ($52.00) and the Youngblood Cosmetics Mineral Primer ($41.00), but, a product that lasts 15-hours? That is what got me!

Also, the fact that Birchbox Co-Founder Katia Beauchamp created a video using it didn’t hurt either. Watch it HERE:

The very next day upon receiving it, I applied it as seen in the video; the texture goes on smoothly and there is no tacky feeling left on the skin. It was 96 degrees out and I opted for the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow SPF 25 Brightening Makeup over it to truly put it to the test.

Benefit Fake Up COncealers in Case

I also used the new Fake Up Concealer ($24.00) in Light under my eyes, as is has been proven to keep skin hydrated for up to 6-hours. I was SET! Literally. All my cosmetics were in place and I was ready to walk ten blocks in 96 degrees to my destination.

Hours later, my makeup was still in place and only my clothing was drenched! I felt like I was in an Orbit gum commercial, yet my face was sparkling clean!

Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer is said to keep your foundation on longer, visibly improve the look of your skin, increase coverage of foundation and also enhance your foundation’s performance. Yes, I agree with all four statements. Don’t forget it is the first stick primer of its kind! Ohhhh!

The Fake Up Concealer comes in Light, Medium and Dark. It has a hydrating ring around the concealing core color.

It applies smoothly and I do think it adds hydration to the eye area, which in turn, and over time, will minimize my dark circles. It diffuses light, which is what is needed to get rid of under eye darkness.

Nicole looking FLAWLESS in the primer and concealer in Light

Overall, I was completely over the moon with the primer, and the concealer seems to do its job relatively well. Tomorrow, I shall only use the primer, as I believe less makeup in this heat would be more enjoyable for me.

Not that one can tell since my makeup is in fact very much intact! Available now at Sephora, Sephora.com and www.benefitcosmetics.com.

What do you beautynistas think of a 15-hour working primer? Think it has what it takes? How about a hydrating under eye concealer?
