There has been a lot of buzz around the new Custom Cover Drops by Cover FX, $44/ 0.5 fl oz. And trust me, they are definitely worth the hype!

The Custom Cover Drops are pure pigments that can be mixed with anything liquid, such as your favorite moisturizers, serums, primers, foundations, tinted moisturizers, BB creams, and so on. This means that you can create a custom coverage foundation. If on certain days you feel that a BB cream just isn’t enough, simply mix a few drops to create your own custom foundation.

Available in 25 different shades, the range includes pink, neutral, and golden undertones – so Cover FX has you covered! The two shades that I tried were N25 and N30. I found that N25 was a perfect match for me right now. Once I get a little bit of color in the summer, N30 should work perfectly. The great thing about these drops is that if you have a foundation that is slightly too light or perhaps too dark, you can mix in a lighter or darker shade to adjust the color and match you perfectly, regardless of what season it is.

In the photographs below, I only used the Custom Cover Drops as my foundation. I wanted to put the foundation to the test as just that, a foundation. I did not mix the drops with any other products. The drops blended flawlessly and seamlessly and provided just as much coverage as my other full coverage foundations. What’s even better is that these drops feel like you are wearing nothing on your skin because they are so lightweight. It actually felt like a primer going on the skin; it’s super smooth and the consistency is rather thin, which I love.

Throughout the day, I got a bit of shine on my face in the normal areas where I get oily; and the staying power of this product is amazing. The finish is a demi-matte in my opinion, not a dewy product, which I can appreciate for us oily skin girls. If you have very dry skin, just make sure your skin is well hydrated before application.

I would rate this a 5 Star Product!
