The Korean cosmetic and skincare brand Luview is making its BeautyStat debut! I love Asian cosmetics — from the packaging, to the formulation to the overall skincare benefiting effects they do to your skin. Luview’s line includes BB creams, powders, lip products, mascara, eyeshadows and more! The hypo-allergenic minerals found in all of the products vitalize the NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), detoxifying your skin for keeping a clear complexion and helping to create a beautiful skin tone.
Luview has sought out only natural ingredients good for the skin from Asia’s clean areas. Amethyst and crystal in natural caves, fresh pearl and coral from the Pacific Ocean and natural jade from the deep underground in China are the main ones that have been used for the creation of only Luview’s natural oriental colors.
Now, with that said, I have the entire Luview line to share with you! Let’s not waste anymore time.
Crystal Cover BB Cream ($25.20; available in 1 Light Beige and 2 Natural Beige)
This BB cream has an incredibly light consistency (much like all of Luview’s facial products). It contains pearl, crystal and amethyst to help keep your skin looking naturally beautiful. It has medium to full coverage; it seems to glide on smoothly, leaving a dewy finish but sets in as more satin-y than matte. It felt very moisturizing and did a good job at concealing dark spots. It has a UV protection of SPF 30 with whitening and wrinkle-improving ingredients. All Luview products advise to “pound” into the skin, which basically means applying with fingers/hands and tapping onto the skin to give an exceptionally natural finish.
Whitening Capsule BB Cream ($22.80)
This is such a cool BB cream! Once you pump out the right amount onto your hand it comes out white, BUT, once you spread it out, it adjusts to your unique skin tone. It is certified by the KFDA for its whitening benefits and white flower ingredients. It’s talc-free and controls sebum; hyaluronic acid and aloe keeps skin moisturized and balanced. Once blended it looked like it had shimmer bits in it, but once I applied it to my face it left a fresh, no-makeup look layer.
Real Skin Primer BB Cream ($18.00)
This BB cream has the one-two-punch of a primer as well; it covers blemishes and pores to create a flawless canvas. Elderberry and blackberry help make this primer a sebum-controlling maverick. I was surprised at how pigmented it was as well, which will be a great makeup base for those good-skin days. Swiss almond, centella and aloe help supply skin with moisture and recovery action.
Aqua Essence Whitening BB Cream ($13.80)
This BB cream is full of so much water! Make sure to keep this bottle upside down so the product doesn’t gush out when you squeeze it. Deep sea water is found in this BB cream, which, to my surprise, dried to a semi-matte finish. All of these BB creams are suitable for all skin types, but this one actually moisturizes without your skin feeling like it has a layer of Vaseline on it. It’s oil-, talc- and paraben-free with kava and aloe to soothe even the most sensitive skin.
One Touch Brush Sun Powder ($24.60)
This all-in-one brush and powder protects you from the damaging UV rays with an SPF of 50 PA +++. Talc-free, the sebum-controlling, ultra-fine powder does a great job at evening the skin tone, but this powder will be my go-to when the summer months are once again upon us. Right now, I need a more moisturizing powder to set my makeup.
Crystal Mineral Pact ($20.40)
This pressed mineral powder comes in two shades: 1 Light Beige and 2 Natural Beige. The satin powder uses ultra-fine minerals that don’t leave a heavy layer on your skin. The compact is beautiful as well — the red and gold packaging glistens in the light when you take it out of your bag. The sponge has its own compartment, which adds to the powder’s hygienic value.

Triple Baked Eyeshadow (Price ?)
These triple baked eyeshadows were introduced to the Luview line this past February. Four shades include 01 Lovely Gold, 02 Charming Violet, 03 White Indigo and 04 Gold Brown. The shadow itself glides on smoothly. I found that once applied to the eyelid, the color was not as pigmeted, but, I am a fan of a light wash of color. The brown and deep purple shades came up more heavily pigmented — the shimmer is great and adds a nice accent to eyes.

Gleam Full Long Lash Mascara ($14.40)
I love this mascara! Vitamin B5, chamomile and jewelry ingredients help to make your lashes look oh-so volumized and glossy. The wet formula is super black! A special volume-up polymer and natural fibers extends every lash — and the formula never flakes or smears. The “star” brush’s cross section and twisted side helps coat the lashes evenly with extreme lengthening results. Something every mascara lover needs to try!

Glossy Kiss ($13.20)
A dual-ended lipgloss that contains two colors every girl should have in her makeup bag: a red and pink shade. The red gloss shade (Rosy Pink) has a nice balm-like consistency, and adds a good amount of red-colored pigment to lips. The pale pink color (Sweet Pink) is a bit opaque, but I prefer a red lip (just a personal choice). But, I did combine the two colors: I first applied the pale pink shade to my lips then a layer of the red gloss and got a pretty pink pout. Pearl adds volume and immense shine to your lips. The formulation is so moisturizing, and the tube is a nice size — bigger than most lipglosses on the US market.
Lemon Balm Bubble Cleansing Foam ($9.10)
This hypo-allergenic cleansing foam is the only skincare item from Luview. I wasn’t ready to put that much faith in a simple cleanser, but this stuff is great! It foams to a light lather and smells fresh and clean, not overpoweringly lemon-y at all. Olive and lemon extracts help purify the skin and get rid of any dirt, while papaya controls pore-clogging dead skin cells. My skin was left feeling clean but not tight; moisturized without that drying, squeaky-clean feel.
