Makeup Review, Swatches: Mally Beauty Pro-Tricks Correct and Conceal Palette - How To Apply Concealer

I get giddy when I get Mally Beauty products to try. Her products are so pretty, yet effective. They go above and beyond the call of cosmetic duty. This month, I have the pleasure of bringing to you her latest offering in the concealer category: Pro-Tricks Correct and Conceal Palette ($40.00; on sale now at QVC).

Pro-Tricks Correct and Conceal Palette comes with three shades to help you do battle on your face; Mally likes to call her concealers “war paint”. Sometimes in the morning, I feel like I’m going to war with my skin, but these three shades help you conceal everything that ails you.

A light, medium and dark shade is available to highlight, conceal and contour your face. It’s user-friendly — you don’t have to be Mally herself to work with it. The concealer has a nice, soft texture that is easy to blend. I like to use brushes on blemishes and under my eyes, then tap out with my finger.

You can use them however you are most comfortable. No need for mixing. I also love that you can blend all three concealer shades to get your most perfect shade. As I am really pale in the winter, I do love to self-tan. This product is one-stop shopping: I can mix and match as my skin requires.

This palette would definitely be on my list of desert island products. It’s a hard worker, just like Mally herself. And for those of you who live in the Tri-State Area, hop on over to Henri Bendel in NYC, she has makeup classes every season. Not only are they informative, they are so much fun! Meet the gal behind the brand. What is more fun than champagne, makeup and girl talk?
