(Preview) Guerlain Fall 2011 Makeup, Color and Skincare Collection

Timeless, Chic, Classic. These are words to describe Guerlain’s latest collection for Fall 2011. The reds, rich plums, and pinks give you the choice to go from demure to daringly bold. Explore your many sides with three new shades of Rouge G Lipstick: 25 Garconne (red), 70 Gigolo (plum), and 71 Girly (pink). Your lips will look as pampered as they feel ($47.00).

Colors and textures interplay, from velvet mattes to shimmering frosts and metallics. Ecrin 4 Couleurs come in four different textures that allow you to play with light: Iridescent, with tiny pearl particles; Matte, for an extra-matte, ultra-soft finish; Velvet Satin, for a soft, delicate velvet finish, and Alcatar’s eyes, a metallic finish with a soft, buttery feel.

Nine variations of Ecrin 4 Couleurs eye shadows are being launched that will become a part of a permanent line. The previous collections have always looked so luxurious in their pewter styled compacts. The formulas are rich, and smooth ($59.00).

The shades are as follows:
01 Les Violets
02 Les Bleus
03 Les Verts
04 Les Bois de rose
05 Les Gris
06 Les Fumes
07 Les Cuirs

Of course, there are complementary other products that highlight the eye, including the  Eye Liner Liquide in 05 Brun Cendré ($35.00).  There’s also a Khol Me Pencil Liner ($30.00) that comes in the following shades:

20 Khol Me Navy (navy blue)

In addition to this collection, Guerlain will be releasing Shalimar Parfum Initiale Eau de Parfum in three sizes (priced from $67-119), and a Shalimar Parfum Initiale Body Lotion for $57. This scent has always been a favorite, and if you haven’t tried it, do so; it will quickly become one of your most reached for fragrances.

There are also two new products added to their skincare line that are worth checking out.

Guerlain Orchidee Imperiale Longevity Concentrate ($490) taps into the science of living orchids. Three Orchid species were chosen from among 30,000 studied and together they form the New-Generation Imperial Orchid Molecular Extract. Together these orchids combine to create an internal and external longevity protection system utilized in Guerlain’s new Orchidee Imperiale Longevity Concentrate. Results are skin is immediately smoothed and tightened as if lifted, gradually all signs of aging are reduced as the formula acts on wrinkles, firmness, density, radiance, and stretched pores, and the surface texture of the skin becomes finer and more even.

Also worth more than a peek is the Abeille Royale Up-Lifting Eye Care ($120.00), a pure royal concentrate is an exclusive blend of bee products, honey, and royal jelly, selected by Guerlain for their effectiveness in healing skin and for its anti-oxidative properties.

Your skin is a delicate flower, after all, why not give it the care it deserves?

These products will be available September 2011 at select Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, and Bergdorf Goodman.

We think these innovative new products are just what you need to step into fall. Tell us, which one of these are you most looking forward to trying?
