I already received my first compliment that my skin appeared to be, and I quote, “glowing!” Stila One Step Illuminate ($36.00) does exactly what is says — it made my skin look more radiant and my pores look immediately smaller. It allowed for my foundation to apply easier as my overall skin tone felt smooth and even to the touch. I absolutely love Stila products as they are so practical, too. A little goes a long way.
The actual swirl of the three illuminating bronzers in pale pink, champagne and kitten were beautiful to look at. The product itself looks like a work of art and when all three shades are combined, they make for a beautiful glow. The pale pink warms the complexion while the light gold/champagne highlights the skin, kitten brightens and illuminates. This oil-free serum instantly primes and nourishes the skin. Fine lines look diminished and wrinkles disappear. When light reflects off of your skin, the skin appears more flawless. This product just melted into my skin; I used it as a base under my Stila foundation as I need the additional coverage. I also noticed that throughout the day my face did not look shiny or need powder as an additional step (despite the eighty degree weather!).
Although I did not sample the other pieces from the Summer 2012 Glow All The Way Collection it includes an All Over Shimmer Liquid Luminizer in three shades ($22.00 each), Set & Illuminate Baked Powder Trios ($34 each), Stay All Day Waterproof Volumizing Mascara ($22.00), Custom Color Bronze ($20.00) — might I add this color adjusting technology appears to be a big trend as the blushes react to the ph balance of your individual skin tone, like a unique one-shade-fits-all and Passion Fruit Lip and Cheek Stain ($24.00).
