New York Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2020 show gave us the latest nail trends that were spotted on the runway. These nail trends are super cute and fairly easy to recreate so we can look runway ready from the comfort of our own homes. Let us know down below if you would rock any of these nail styles and which style is your own personal favorite!
FRENCH TIP WITH A TWIST
The early 2000’s favorite is back and better than ever. Jin Soon Choi for JINsoon
created a black and nude version of the classic manicure for rag & bone while Julie Kandalec for Essie
used silver glitter and a turquoise tip to update this look.
Nail artists are even flipping the entire look like Betina Goldstein for Essie
at Kith with a double lined look and Jin Soon Choi who applied the white line against the cuticle for rag & bone.
Silver accents were seen all over the fingertips of models this season. Betina Goldstein for Essie used a sheer pink matte base
and painted a silver chrome line
down the center to create a simple yet futuristic manicure. Jim Soon Choi for JINsoon was inspired by a paperclip
during a meeting with Tibi designer Amy Smilovic and created hand molded wire rings to top the nude nails.
The nails created by Miss Pop for Essie
at the Jeremy Scott show were unmistakably 80’s inspired with the mix of saturated colors, geometric shapes, and animal prints.
Scott was not alone in this trend. Models at 3.1 Phillip Lim also donned bright tips as Jin Soon Choi for JINsoon used a lemon/lime yellow shade
to match the pops of color in the collection.
