Review: How To Remove Your Makeup & Cleanse Your Skin In One Step: CLEANSE By Lauren Napier Facial Cleansing Wipes

I’m very diligent about removing my makeup each night before bed. I typically wash my face as soon as I come home from an event or outing, unless I accidentally fall asleep on the couch with my laptop still on my lap (which happens a lot when you’re a full-time freelancer like me!). But there have been a few occasions where sometimes I just want to be lazy and wash my face while laying in the bed at the same time!  (I know I’m not the only one who’s gone through this!)

Luckily, I now keep a full box of CLEANSE by Lauren Napier makeup cleansing wipes right on my nightstand. These wipes are heavy duty and make me feel less guilty about dozing off without washing my face first. I was wearing tinted moisturizer, blush and mascara when I gave these a test drive and it took me 2 wipe packets to remove everything.

The wipes are large, almost the size of a standard paper towel! This makes them great for swiping… and re-swiping to make sure the makeup is done. I even use both sides of the wipes. I also truly appreciate the texture of the them; the slight ridges made the wipes better at cleansing versus other smooth wipes I’ve used in the past.

One more reason why I love these wipes is because they are non-scented. There’s no alcohol-y, or floral-y scent that I have to deal with. The wipes are also infused with aloe and cucumber extracts, which make them feel sooo good and soothing to the skin.

I also love that these wipes are individually wrapped. (Does happy dance!) I cannot tell you how many wipes I’ve had to throw away because they dried out in the package before I was done with the whole container. Since I’ve been using these for over a month now, I’ve found several uses for them.

I keep a few in my purse to wipe makeup off my sunglasses. I also keep them in my gym bag to quickly wipe off my tinted moisturizer before I workout (because brown-colored makeup sweat is NOT cute!). I will definitely be stashing these wipes in every handbag and tote from now on. I love ’em!

  1. I use Vaseline to take off my eye make up and a wash cloth with water. The Vaseline takes most of it off but there’s residue in the morning. Gotta find something else to use

  2. I don’t like face wipes to remove my makeup they seem to dry out my skin. I know I also get lazy once in a while and just sleep with my makeup but using wipes just dehydrate my skin more. Maybe these would be a whole new story I just might try them, Great review thanks!

  3. Would love to try this eye and face remover
