Review: LORAC Spring 2011 3D "Multiplex" Collection

We know how great 3D can be when watching a movie. All the exciting effects seem to be right within reach. Now, LORAC brings you the same effect for your face with color. Glittery, shimmery,”catch the light” 3D color enhances eyes, lips, and lashes in an eight piece set that gives a beautiful multi-dimensional look where ever it is applied.

3-in 1 Waterproof Eyeliner Pencils in Chocolate and Eggplant ($18)

We love this packaging! (I want the same print on a pair of shoes or a purse!). Six shimmering duo chrome eyeshadows are eye catching, and IMAX worthy. The green flashes from red to brown and the peach-gold flashes to/from shades of pink. This is a bit darker than LORAC’s usual Spring/Summer faire, but it is perfect for creating a sultry, smoky eye that is oh so popular on the runways again.

3D effects also light up your lips. The Multiplex 3D Lip glosses are beautiful, duo chrome glosses in Vivid, Cliche, and 3D. Cliche- a medium candy pink with blue duo chrome. It has little pearls of silvery shimmer that reflect blue. Vivid- a warm light pink base with very strong gold, yellow and green duo chrome.

3D- a sheer copper with pink reflective/slightly duo chrome sparkles. This is a little like MAC Dazzle glosses but is more defined.

We dare you to step into another dimension of color. Tell us, are you a fan of 3D makeup?
