Throwing some glitter on your lips can let you achieve a fun look in just a couple of simple steps! Use the Models Own Celestial Lip Glitter Kit (pictured above in Rose Meteor, Cerise Star, and Moon Dust) to take your festival glam to another stratosphere. You can wear these alone or over your favorite lip color. These high impact glitter lip kits come with 1 dual-ended applicator, 1 lip glitter, and 1 lip glitter seal.
To apply these to your lips, apply the lip glitter seal onto your lips first. Then, use the brush end of the dual-ended applicator to even out the lip glitter seal and ensure coverage is smooth. Use the sponge end of the dual-ended applicator to dip into the glitter pot and pat gently onto your lips. Keep applying until you have a gorgeous, even glittery finish!
These would be perfect for your unicorn or fairy Halloween looks. You could even incorporate some of these to Disney Princess looks and so on. This is something that will obviously wear off slightly throughout the night after a few hours and you definitely don’t want to eat with this on your lips. I recommend avoiding rubbing your lips together while wearing this so you don’t mess up the pretty application!
Whether on the San Antonio strip or the fields of Glastonbury, this Models Own Celestial Face Glitter Kit has your festival look covered. Create unique designs with ease with the Celestial face stencils! This kit includes face glitter seal, face glitter in Mars, face glitter in Pluto, 1 dual-ended applicator, and 5 face stencils. It’s hard to tell from the photograph because the stencils are white, but you get a moon, some stars, a unicorn, a sun, and some hearts!
The larger glitter particles can be a bit tricky to work with the stencils; however, once the product is on, it’s on! To remove the glitter from your face or hair, you can use any liquid soap or shampoo and gently work the glitter loose. You’ll want to keep rinsing until it’s gone. These stencils will give you the perfect shape to accent your costume – whether you’re going for a unicorn look, a celestial look, or even a mermaid look. You can also reuse these stencils with your own ultra fine glitters in order to achieve different looks!
Create an otherworldly pout with the Models Own Celestial Chrome Lip Toppers. These come in two shades: Stardust (top) and Rose Comet (bottom). You can apply these over your favorite matte lip colors. The long wear formula is loaded with reflective pigments for a multidimensional finish! These products give a nice iridescent finish. You can even apply them to bare lips for out of this world shine.
As you can see from the swatches, these are highly reflective products! I tried using these on their own and while they do give a nice glittery/iridescent effect, I find that they work better as lip toppers (as they were intended to be used). If you’re a fan of highlighting the lower center part of your bottom lip to give some dimension and make your lips look more full, I think you’ll really enjoy these! And of course, if you’re shooting for a celestial look this Halloween, Stardust would be a gorgeous shade to complete your costume makeup.
Models Own Celestial Enchanted Palette | $8.99
Be the queen of hearts with the Models Own Celestial Enchanted Palette. From ladylike hues to fairy tale blooms, live happily ever after! You get ten gorgeous shimmery shades in this palette. (Sorry for you matte lovers – this will not be the palette for you!)
I think this is a great palette particularly for beginners because the shadows do not have a lot of fall out and are extremely easy to work with. They aren’t overly pigmented but they give off nice sheens. This won’t be a standalone palette if you like to throw a matte shade in the crease – you’ll have to incorporate another color from your collection. However, I think you have a nice variety of lid shades, brow bone shades, inner corner shades, and lower lash line shades. As you can see from the photographs below, the shades do give off a beautiful shimmery glow and look great on the eyes. I applied these with a brush and had no issues but you might want to try using the tip of your finger for a more saturated application.
I recommend applying a white or black base over your eyeshadow primer in order to intensify the pigmentation of these shadows. (In the photographs of my eye above, I am wearing only eyeshadow primer. In the swatch photographs, there is no primer on my arm.) You get a few fun shades in here too as well as some great neutrals. This is a great basic palette to add to your collection if you find yourself missing some of these essential type of shades! Also – you could really highlight your face nicely with some of the lighter shades to give off more of a celestial or unicorn vibe to your Halloween costume.
