The new Miracle Matte Liquid Lip Colors are said to be “the softest, most comfortable matte lip that wears all day with a creaseless and seamless look.” Lips are said to “appear softer and smoother with a blurring effect that creates a fuller lip look.”
I was sent three of twelve shades to sample: English Rose, Soft Berry, and Dark & Stormy. I loved the faint coconut flavor and I really liked the rich, matte color. If you want a gloss that isn’t shiny or iridescent, this is the one for you. And it’s true that the blurred effect gives the impression of a fuller, sexier pout. I’m going to try it in red, which is my signature color. This is a great gloss at a great price!
This new liner is said to “define lips with precise, pigment rich color while it frames, fills in, and prevents feathering.” The smooth, creamy formula promises to provide “weightless definition that glides on comfortably and stays put.” The liner comes with a built-in sharpener for quick touch-ups on the go – got to love that!
I tried this with my usual lipsticks and loved it! It had a smooth, creamy formula that just glided on. It really lasted, even throughout a long and busy day – none of that pesky feathering! Again, I was delighted by rock bottom price for a super product.
This exclusive gel formula promises to “deliver intense color payoff with a vinyl-like finish that doesn’t fade or flake.” The “micronized, pearlescent pigments intensify the high shine effect and an ultra-fine tip glides on smoothly to allow makeup artist precision.”
There are seven shades and I was sent Bronzed Out and Black Vinyl to try. Can I sing, shout, and do a tap dance on my desk to tell you how great these eyeliners are?! The formula is SO smooth – it just glides right on! I don’t think I’ve ever had an eyeliner that allowed me so much control and precision. I used it to emphasize below (bottom eyelid) and top (along lash line); both applications stayed put all day. This is my new favorite eyeliner; I’m getting rid of all of my others. And once again, the price can’t be beat!
This primer is said to “instantly blur pores and fine lines while adding a soft glow to help reduce skin dullness.” The universally flattering pigments are said to “provide a subtle radiance for a healthy-looking effect that keeps makeup fresh all day.” It’s also packed with antioxidants and vitamin C to combat daily pollution.
I had no experience with a product of this kind so I followed the instructions for use. Per the directions, I gently squeezed out a pea-sized amount to the tip of my index finger and dabbed four dots in each major region of my face – forehead, left and right cheeks, and chin. I spread the dots in the desired areas and then applied my makeup. The product did a nice job of smoothing and refining the look of my skin. But quite honestly, I already use a moisturizer with an SPF of at least 30, foundation, blush and powder. So, I’d probably not add another product to my daily regime because I didn’t think what it delivered was so dramatically different or special.
The newly introduced Seal The Deal Long-Lasting Setting Spray creates a “sweat-proof and rub-resistant barrier that maintains makeup for a fresh just-applied look that lasts all day.” The invisible formula promises to “keep skin looking beautifully matte all day long.” The custom spray allows you to control the application.
After my makeup application, I shook the container and held it about 10 inches away from my face and closed my eyes tightly. I sprayed the mist twice in an “X” formulation. I liked the cool, refreshing feel (and will like it even more come summer) and I liked the way it set my makeup. Not an essential product in my view, but a nice one.
Seal The Deal Hydrating Setting Spray | $13.00
Seal The Deal Hydrating Setting Spray “creates an invisible shield that maintains makeup while hydrating and protecting your skin from pollution particles.” The formula “leaves skin feeling soft and smooth for a flawless healthy looking finish that lasts all day.” The mist can be controlled with the custom nozzle.
As with the other product described above, I shook the container well, held it about 10 inches away from my face with my eyes tightly closed, and sprayed the mist two times in an “X” formation. I used it a few times throughout the day.
I liked this product and appreciated the cool, fresh feel it delivered. I didn’t think it was dramatically different from the Long Lasting Setting Spray though. And I do think both of these products would be more useful in warmer weather.
The bottom line is that Flower Beauty is a super line at crazy good prices! I also really appreciated the expert how-to instructional videos on the website which you can check out here.
