Get red carpet-ready with the brand that gives you the tools (and colors) to achieve the ultimate glamorous look! This fall, Lorac has some amazing palettes available with smooth, easy-to-blend eyeshadows, lustrous lipglosses and foundations from a cream-to-powder formula to the brand’s very own CC cream!

Lorac CC Cream ($28.00) is the only CC cream on the market formulated for sensitive skin! It has 6 specialties in one: neutralizes, primes, moisturizes, brightens, soothes and helps your skin look healthy and youthful. Oil-, silicone- and paraben-free, this CC cream gives off a semi-matte finish that is suitable for all skin types.

Red seaweed naturally primes, it does not absorb into the skin but remains on the surface to hold in moisture and extend makeup wear; hyaluronic acid moisturizes and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines; Vitamin C brightens and aloe, chamomile, calendula and white peony soothe the skin.

The 3 shades (CC1, CC2 and CC3) allow for a range of skintones to fit at least one shade. I mixed CC1 and CC2 (each shade has green and yellow pigments to counteract redness) together to get the perfect combination for my neutral and yellow undertones.

A small amount goes a long way, so be mindful when squeezing it out of the tube. I find that sometimes a semi-matte finish is hard to work with when it comes to BB creams and CC creams, so be mindful of working fast and applying it directly after your moisturizer so you have a moist, dewy base.

The coconut craze is still making its rounds in the beauty world. The Lorac Cococin® Cream Compact Foundation ($32.00) is a lightweight formula that is derived from young green coconuts. Cococin® is loaded with vitamins and minerals to help keep your skin healthy, hydrated and silky-smooth.

Although it touts itself as a cream foundation, it feel very silky when applied to the skin providing medium to full coverage. I usually don’t use cream foundations, but it applied very easily; you might want to go light on application, as cream foundations tend to get cakey fast.

It has two compartments: one to stash your sponge and the other the foundation, which is securely fastened in a sleek, black, circular compact with a magnetic closure. 8 shades appeal to a number of skintones and undertones:

CR1 – Fair (Neutral/Yellow Undertone) – swatched
CR2 – Light (Yellow Undertone)
CR3 – Light Beige (Neutral) – swatched
CR4 – Golden Light (Neutral)
CR5 – Medium Beige (Yellow Undertone) – swatched
CR6 – Golden Tan (Yellow Undertone)
CR7 – Tan (Neutral/Yellow Undertone)
CR8 – Deep (Yellow Undertone)

On to the eyes! Now, here’s a statement that I could get in a lot of trouble for: I find that the Lorac Pro Palette ($42.00) can give any of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes a run for their money! There, I said, let’s all move forward now.

Our beauty editor Evelyn SWATCHED and created some AMAZING eye looks using the Urban Decay Naked2 Palette. See for yourself —> HERE!

The Pro Palette is equipped with 16 eyeshadows: 8 matte and 8 shimmery shades. You’ll be able to mix and match, go from day to night with a number of eye looks to choose from (just take a look at mine).

It also comes with a Mini Behind the Scene Eye Primer to allow your eyeshadow to last and apply with intensity. My shadows never creased, and the primer had the perfect lightweight and blendable consistency.

Using my It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Vanity brushes, I was able to get a nude eye look mainly using LT. Pink — a refreshing matte pink shade that made my eyes appear brighter; contouring with Mauve to add definition.

The shimmery shades were gorgeous: Champagne on the entire lid, adding a little bit of LT. Bronze and using the beautiful burnt copper shade that is Garnet. I couldn’t be more impressed with this palette.

Lorac Pro Mascara ($23.00) thickens and lengthens with its super-size, jumbo PRO brush that easily grabs each lash from root to tip, and corner to corner, for a luxurious faux-lash look. The bulbous brush narrows out at the tip, so as soon as you apply it to your lashes it extends from the center, while you work the thinner side to the inner and outer lashes.

Inspired by Lorac’s top-selling 3D Liquid Lustre Eye Shimmer, Lorac Lip Lustre Gloss ($15.00) adds sheer color and glimmer to lips. The gloss uses a small brush applicator to apply the hydrating formula infused with antioxidants of acai berry, pomegranate, grape seed and Vitamins A, C and E.

Not to mention its amazing scent: cotton candy! 5 shades include Peach Lustre (not swatched), Rose Lustre , 3D Lustre, Fuchsia Lustre and Ruby Lustre. Ruby and 3D are the most pigmented, while the other two apply more shine and shimmer rather than color.
