Careless Whisper, Groove Is In The Heart, Moon Rendezvous… Names of 80’s songs? Yes. But, they are also the names of Deborah Lippmann‘s latest shades, which make me pine for days of yore.
Romantic Rapture is a collection of three gorgeous shades which includes Moon Rendezvous, a faded slate-blue — think the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz; Careless Whisper, a shimmery nude — the perfect color to wear while drinking champagne with George Michael on a yacht somewhere glamorous. And, my favorite, Groove Is In the Heart, a bright, clear pink — not only was that song played at my prom, but this color would have been ideal for my gown, too!

This is my first time trying Deborah Lippmann products, and I am now a HUGE fan. At first glance of the product, I couldn’t take my eyes off the bottle — so regal looking. These bottles are meant to be out on your vanity. They are just too pretty to be hidden.
Each shade went on evenly, didn’t streak and dried pretty quickly. I also love that her polishes do not contain toulane, formaldehyde, DBP and NO ANIMAL TESTING! I have yet to meet Ms. Lippmann in person, however, I can tell she is a cool chick because each of her polishes are named after favorite songs of mine.
I have a big problem with chipping, and these lasted a full week for me without any problems. Another feature of these polishes: one coat covered each nail beautifully! How many polishes could do that? From my experience? NONE. You can tell this is a high-performing, top-notch polish. These polishes are a bit pricey at $17.00, but, if you want to splurge, skip the Chanel and buy Deborah Lippmann. Trust me, you won’t be sorry you did!
