Review, Swatches, Makeup Trends 2018, 2019, 2020: Christie Brinkley Sheer Powder Bronzer, Natural Glow Stick Highlighter, Day to Night Eyeshadow Palette, Mascara, Enhanced Anti-Aging Day Cream with SPF 30

Of course you’ve heard of Christie Brinkley before! The supermodel, actress, best selling author, and entrepreneur has her own skincare line which we recently reviewed here at BeautyStat. Today I’ll be sharing with you some products from Christie Brinkley’s makeup line, Christie Brinkley Authentic Beauty (and there’s one skincare product thrown in here because skincare is always important, too!). Christie Brinkley Day to Night Eyeshadow Palette – Warm Brown Nudes | $28.00

This collection of earthy, luxe nudes contains a masterfully-balanced, monotonal array of universally flattering browns and rose tones that deliver day-to-dazzling-evening looks. The five-pan palette comes in a gorgeous rose-gold packaging with a great functional mirror. It also comes with a dual-ended eyeshadow brush for easy on-the-go travel application.

The palette contains a combination of demi-matte, soft-satin, and understated shimmer finishes that are long-lasting and crease-free. The neutral, widely wearable shades complement any complexion. The dual-sided pro-designed brush gives you pro-quality precision application and blending. The first pan primer color corrects and creates a smooth base. These silky powders are beautifully buildable and exceptionally blendable with exceptional glide and even application.

Each shadow has great color payoff. I think this is going to be a staple palette for anyone who loves their neutral looks. I love the inclusion of the glittery black shade because that really gives you the opportunity to go smokey in the evening. The deep brown satin-matte allows you to achieve a wearable neutral eye but can easily be deepened quickly by layering and blending. The cream shade is great for blending away those harsh edges as well as setting down a base prior to any other shadows. There are two different toned golds, one is more pale and muted and the other is more bronze. I have no complaints about this palette! Everything about it is gorgeous and the price point makes it super affordable. If you’re into neutral looks that aren’t too over the top, I think this would be a great addition to your makeup collection!

Christie Brinkley Natural Glow Stick Highlighter | $22.00

This universal, soft-texture stick highlighter creates a luminous glow and soft shimmer without glitter. It’s formulated to instantly brighten and add radiance as well as a subtle lit-from-within luminosity to the skin. The skin-conditioning formula melts on contact with skin and has exceptional blendability, which makes it perfect for mature skin. It provides dimension and imparts a delicate, dewy glow. This highlighter also hydrates and helps enhance the natural moisture of the skin. The creamy, ultra-light formula applies without drag and doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry.

There are two shades available: Pinked and Champagne. The one in the photo is Champagne. It’s a gorgeous gold shade. The product is definitely creamy. I applied this directly to my cheekbones and found that it did not disturb my foundation and applied nicely to the skin without any drag. The product blended out flawlessly, leaving behind a soft, dewy glow – which is exactly how they described it. I would definitely say this product leans more towards natural glow; however, it works nicely with other products, too. I have paired this with some of my other highlighters and find that applying this underneath really intensifies the pigmentation of other products. The wear time is excellent – it lasted all day long throughout my entire work shift and still looked gorgeous at the end of the day when I removed it!

Christie Brinkley Sheer Powder Bronzer – Burnished Bronze | $25.00

This smooth, weightless bronzing powder gives you an all-over wash of warmth – something our skin is certainly craving as we come towards the end of the winter season. The soft-focus formula doesn’t mask the skin with matte color or visible large particle shimmer, but instead, delivers a natural, neutral, never-orange golden warmth to any complexion. It has a silky, streak-free application and provides a natural-looking, sun-kissed finish. It also contains Vitamins C and E!

The first thing I noticed about this bronzer is that it is super pigmented! You only need to dab your brush in the pan ever-so-lightly. It adds a gorgeous warm glow. I can see this product working for a variety of skin tones. The compact is gorgeous, too (if you haven’t noticed by now, all of these products come in the same beautiful rose-gold packaging). I like to apply this around my hair line, the cheeks, a dab on the chin and a little bit on the tip of my nose. It really gives a nice sun-kissed look.

Christie Brinkley In A Blink Instant Volumizing Mascara | $18.00

This mascara claims to create the appearance of lush, long and volume-defined lashes. It helps condition and strengthen your lashes while instantly volumizing as it accentuates and thickens, allowing your lashes to appear thicker. The lash-revealing formula resists smearing and smudging while the pro brush delivers a perfect amount of product for exceptional, lump-free extension! It also contains Pro-vitamin B5. Here’s a look at the brush.

You know by now I love natural bristled mascara wands the most, so this product instantly got a point from me for that. The formula is more on the thick side and creamy; however, the product is designed so that the brush doesn’t come out overloaded with product. I found this mascara to be on the drier side as opposed to some mascaras which tend to be more wet. I didn’t mind it. It lasted throughout an entire work day, as well as evening, without smudging, smearing, or flaking. It also didn’t transfer or smudge underneath my eyes from my lower lash line. This mascara is a great everyday product that delivers natural, clump-free lashes.

Christie Brinkley Recapture 360 + IR Defense Anti-Aging Day Cream | $89.95

This cream has a thicker consistency, which I wasn’t used to for a day cream, so I wasn’t sure how it was going to wear throughout the day paired with my oily skin. I found that it applied nicely and easily absorbed into the skin. Most importantly, it did not irritate my skin or cause me to breakout! It has a light, pleasant scent as well, though nothing overbearing or overpowering. It left my skin feeling plump, hydrated, and prepped for makeup application. It didn’t cause my makeup to wear off faster or “melt” throughout the day – which is perfect for me! I love the inclusion of the SPF to protect against the sun, which is super important even though it’s winter. I haven’t noticed any of the long-term benefits of using the product yet, such as the anti-aging claims; however, I’m hoping with continued use, I will see some! I did find that this product does help with the crepe-ish look that we tend to get around the crow’s feet area from concealer and powder caking up there.

Overall, I’m super impressed with these products from the Christie Brinkley line! I’ve never personally tried anything from the line myself and definitely had high hopes for these. I think the packaging is absolutely stunning. When I’m trying new products, I don’t like to check out the prices beforehand. Judging by the consistency of these products, the application, and the wear, I would have guessed they were at least 2 or 3 times the price they actually are. The products are reasonably priced and wear beautifully. I think anyone would enjoy them – from younger ladies to more mature women. Christie Brinkley hit it out of the ball park with these products!
