I was one of the first people to wear Nails Inc. London’s Magnetic Effects Nail Polish, so I was super excited to sample Nails Inc.’s new Spring 2012 launches. I practically rent space at the Sephora in the Meat Packing District, and am a self-professed nail-a-holic, so reviewing nail polishes is always a treat for me!

Nails Inc. London was created in 1999 by Thea Green and has become the UK’s leading fashion forward nail brand. As I mentioned earlier, they first caught my attention with their Metallic Effects colors which I had read about in Allure magazine, then saw all of the amazing shades at Sephora when they included the brand. These new shades blew me away as they have now added four bright and colorful Neon Nail Polish (sampled above) named after the hippest locations in London: Holland Park is a neon purple; Westbourne Grove — a neon peachy-orange; Portobello — neon coral and Notting Hill Gate — neon pink — all for $9.50 each.

Also new to their spring collection, two new Magnetic Polishes that give a 3D effect while remaining smooth to the touch: Kensington Palace — a raspberry magnetic polish and London Town — taupe magnetic polish at $16.00 each. If you find it challenging to apply the polish, just ask me as I really love doing this technique on myself and others!

Five new shades of Trend Polishes include Baker Street — a bright cobalt blue; Notting Hill Carnival — soft yellow; Hampstead Gardens — a real mustard yellow; Holland Park Avenue — nude and Mayfair — a pearlescent white for $ 9.50 each. These colors were all inspired by the Spring/Summer 2012 shows where London’s runways were filled with mustards, yellows and color-popping cobalt blues seen at Aquascutum, Richard Nicoll and Osman.

Three Special Effects 3D Glitter Polishes were added and inspired by the delicate pastel and metallic hues spotted during London Fashion Week. New colors include Marylebone — a pastel pink 3D glitter nail polish; Hammersmith — teal pastel 3D glitter nail polish and Maida Vale — silver-blue 3D glitter nail polish for $9.50 each.

Last but not least, a Mini Neon & Nude Collection for $25.00 was created to coordinate with the stand out trend of the season. This collection partners three of their best-selling chic, nude classics with three brand new ultra-bright neons (mentioned above as well). Colors include Notting Hill Gate — a shocking pink; Portobello — coral neon; Westborne Grove — peachy orange neon; Porchester Square — a muted mushroom; Jermyn Street — the perfect taupe and Cadagon Square — classic neutral.

All products are now available at Sephora or by visiting www.sephora.com.
