L’Oréal Paris introduces Colour Caresse by Color Riche Luminous Lipcolour as “the new generation of luminous lip colors.” No one wants cakey, thick lipstick that leaves a residue on your lips — these new lipsticks won’t. They are super-creamy and glide on the lips with ease.
They are lightweight and can be layered, but all you need is one swipe. These will be available for $9.99 in sixteen modern pops of color and will deliver a shine that won’t cake. Their colors will range from demure pinks to bright violets.
I was invited to see the launch but did not take home any to sample, yet, I was able to sample the three shades while on site. They were easy-to-apply, had a pop of pigment and a subtle shine. The formula in this new line is exclusive to L’Oréal Paris and is known as the Lightfeel System Technology — a combination of polymers and base that feel weightless on the lips. These sixteen new shades were developed by L’Oréal Paris color designer Orrea Light, who travels the world to locate the hottest, on-trend hues that are both fashionable and easy-to-wear.
Colour Caresse by Colour Riche Luminous Lipcolour will be available in July 2012 at mass food and drug retailers nationwide.
