Review, Swatches: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Crème Makeup -- Lightweight Foundation

Revlon has come out with quite a few products for the fall season. The most anticipated being their Colorstay Whipped Crème Makeup ($13.99). They say what goes around comes around, and I seem to remember a foundation from my youth with the same concept. This time, of course, the formula and shades are much better.

The foundation comes in 12 skin-flattering shades. From the lightest to the the richest skin tone. Just a little bit is all you need. One jar will last you a VERY long time. Along with new shade ranges, there have been some other improvements and enhancements over time, such as:

– Time Release Technology – balances skin for a flawless look
– Next generation of patent pending whipped crème formula that feels lightweight and looks flawless
– Soft, Matte Finish
– Buildable coverage
– Wears for 24-hours
– Fragrance- and Oil-Free

I was skeptical, but I decided to wear this product to test just how long it can stay on flawlessly. I happened to go to Ellis Island for a full day of being a tourist. During my day, I encountered wind from the ferry, heat and humidity walking around, and, due to my allergies, I was rubbing my face all day. Well, I was gone a full ten hours and I was surprised at what I saw: my skin looked pretty good! I have combination skin and only brushed a little bit of powder and didn’t touch-up all day. I have to say I was pleased with how my skin looked by the time I got home! I would definitely recommend this foundation.
