BREAKING NEWS: Christian Louboutin enters the beauty floor of it’s wholesalers, retail partners.
“I wanted to create an ‘ecrin de la beaute’, inspired by a jewel box for beauty, where women can discover beauty in a precious and intimate environment. I wanted to create a space where women could enjoy themselves and feel empowered to take ownership of their image,” says Christian Louboutin.
As is the case in Christian Louboutin boutiques, attention to detail is an important component in his vision. From lush red carpets, to artfully detailed niches that showcase product and inspiration, to the details and chairs that take cues from Christian’s personal collection, the new beauty concept borrows heavily from Louboutin’s existing universe – seen in both his personal spaces and boutiques.
Tables where clients will be invited to experience products are inspired by the high touch experience found in a luxury jewelry boutique, complete with velvet trays on which to present product, and risers designed specially to showcase the full range of 36 shades of lip colors. Chairs have been designed taking inspiration from Christian’s personal furniture collection. And of course clients will uncover cues of the familiar (and much loved) red sole throughout the space.
Niches will show new products as they are released from nail color to lip color with future categories to be unveiled.
The new beauty spaces will launch globally starting September 2015 in select Christian Louboutin boutiques, concessions, and retail partners around the world.
