(Giveaway & Review) Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir

No matter what your skin type, exfoliation can be a good thing.  Exfoliation benefits dry skin by removing excess flakiness that can make skin look dull. It also benefits oily skin by clearing out the pores to prevent acne breakouts. And it benefits skin that is starting to show signs of aging by improving skin’s texture.

Well if you’re looking for younger looking skin, look no further than Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir.  This little exfoliation expert hydrates to resurface skin for tighter, smoother skin.

(Giveaway & Review) Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir

The formula contains glycolic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) which is the exfoliating workhorse in the formula.  It works to provide continuous, uninterrupted exfoliation while you sleep.

The formula is a lightweight gel that smoothes on very skin easily (actually, it feels like it just glides on). It does take a few minutes to completely absorb. Once absorbed, my skin felt comfortable and hydrated  (you can apply a moisturizer over it if you need more hydration).  The formula also contains glycerin, allantoin and grape seed extract which help to hydrate, protect and soothe the skin (I felt no stinging like I have with other peel treatments that I’ve tried).

The next morning I woke up to visibly smoother skin. And after a few days, my skin looked brighter and more radiant.  In the morning, I made sure to wear a sunscreen (with an SPF of 15 or higher) as AHA-containing products may increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun.

Olay shared the clinical test results with us and we were quite impressed.  In a 92 person study, they compared their formula with a dermatologists 30% glycolic acid chemical peel.  And after Days, 3, 7 and 12 of use, women in the study agreed the Olay formula performed better than the dermatologist’s peel.  Pretty amazing, huh?

Well, we love this product so much, we need to share one with a lucky member. Simply post a comment below telling us what product or treatment you use or have used to exfoliate (scrubs, peels, micro-dermabrasions, toners, masks, derm treatments).  And please be specific!

Live Clean is a brand that believes in beauty with a conscience. Live Clean was …

  1. right now I am using Kiehl’s Pineapple Papaya Facial scrub that I like

  2. I use dove soap and water, but I definitely need to start a better exfoliation treatment.

  3. I have used Lancome facial exfoliant and I don’t think it works for me. I would love to try Olay night resurfacing Elixir.

  4. Hi there. I’ve used a few Olay products in the past and have been impressed. I use the micro-dermabrasion kit from time to time and would love something else on a daily basis. As a mom of 11 (!) it is always helpful to have something quick to use but quality!

Other exfoliation products I’ve used have been the Clinique 7-day scrub and the other exfoliation scrub (don’t recall official name). They were nice but I’m looking for more. I’d like tighter skin. Thanks for your site 🙂

  5. I love anything Olay and recently heard the “Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elexir” recommended on the “Today” show. I am eager to try it and am sure I will be just as pleased with it as I am with all of the other Olay products I’ve tried. Keep those anti-wrinkle products coming my way, Olay!
