Gabby Douglas is a busy young lady. Not only is she the star of a new reality TV show on Oxygen, Douglas Family Gold, but she is heading back to the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro this year. With all she has going on, we had a few minutes to stop and chat with the super star athlete. We wanted to find out her favorite beauty products and routines when she’s not practicing for Olympic gold.
1. What three beauty products are essential for your gym bag?
COVERGIRL Colorlicious Gloss in Give Me Guava, pressed powder compact, and hair ties/clips.
2. When you’re not in the gym, what beauty products are your must-haves for a glamorous look on a night out?
I love mink lashes, a good primer, and makeup setting spray! (Try Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, $36.)
3. What products are you definitely taking with you to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games?
A charcoal cleanser, toner and moisturizer for sure! I’ll also have my eyeshadows and bold lip colors! (Try Biore Charcoal Cleanser, below.)
4. What is your typical day-to-day beauty ritual?
Taking care of my skin is really important to me. So, I cleanse and moisturize every morning and night. I also use eye cream, Vitamins E , C and apply sunscreen regularly. And since I’m in a leotard six days a week, shaving is a regular part of my skin care routine. The Venus Swirl is my favorite razor to use! It always delivers a smooth finish. This razor literally moves like no other!
