Review, Before & After Photos: GoodSkin Labs Z-Pore Instant Pore Refiner – Treatment That Visibly Reduces Large Pores

Having oily skin means not only battling the constant sheen and tendency to break out, it also means dealing with enlarged pores. All of these issues perpetually conspire against smooth skin. Thankfully, beauty companies began to introduce pore refining treatments.

The latest one to take a shot at overcoming the look of enlarged pores is GoodSkin Labs’ Z-Pore Instant Pore Refiner. This product promises to instantly refine the look of pores, control oil and reduce shine to leave skin flawless.  It works by combining special silicone polymers and optical diffusers to instantly reduce the look of pores and provide a soft matte finish to the skin. Well this sounds like everything I want and need …so on it goes (after cleansing, of course).

Before Applying Z-Pore Instant Pore Refiner

The first product claim does not exaggerate. It does literally go to work instantly, drying up immediately on contact with my skin. This is not necessarily a good thing because it causes flakes. Pores do shrink, though, so it’s promising. I proceed to apply an oil-free moisturizer. That does the trick and gets rid of the flakes providing a smooth, properly hydrated base for make-up. After that goes on, the all day test drive begins.

Overall, it performs well at reducing the look of pores and does help to keep shine levels lower than usual, but doesn’t totally get rid of it because at the end of the day, oil began to seep through (I have extremely oily skin so it may work better for those whose skin is less oily).  Overall the product did a good job.

Z-Pore Instant Pore Refiner is available now  exclusively at Kohl’s Department Stores nationwide and Kohls.com for a suggested retail price of $24.50.

  1. That has such a noticeable difference! The pores were especially smaller around the nose. I have a dermatologist in the family, and I wonder if she uses that product.

  2. I found this at Kohl’s a couple of weeks ago and LOVE it! It really does the job. I apply after putting on moisturizer and haven’t had any trouble with flaking.

  3. gosh, what’s the difference with usual foundation or bb cream ?

I use light foundation and the result turn out like that, just I use darker tone, coz i want to avoid pale or mask look…..

  4. I tried some of this on in the store and my nose looked and felt so smoothe!! I just wanted to keep touching my face because it was so soft!! #amazing product 🙂

  5. I would like to know if this is more suitable for AM use only? Thanksss
