(Review & Giveaway) L’Oreal 360 Go Clean Acne Cleanser Scrublet

I recently tried an expensive face wash that shall remain nameless.  It stays nameless because after I massaged my face with its foamy (and admittedly crisp-smelling) self for thirty seconds, I thought it had cleaned my face and I proceeded with my nightly routine: I swapped my face with a cotton pad soaked in a retinoid.  Gasp!  The pad picked up all manner of mineral make-up and dirt left on my face by the errant wash.
L'Oreal Go 360 Clean CleanserI gratefully turned to test the next face wash coming down the line, the L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser.  Like its brethren previously reviewed on BeautyStat, this cleanser retails for the reasonable price of $6.99 and it comes with a squishy scrublet to tackle dirt and oil.  (Side note:  I first met with the Go 360 collection last year when I had the ‘good’ fortune to get cast in a show that required full-on clown make-up and I desperately needed something to remove oily layers of white and red paint.  Ah, memories.)  While the other Go 360 Clean products delivered on their promises of a scrupulous cleansing, the new Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser means acne-plagued persons such as myself can breathe a sigh of relief.  None of the other cleansers caused acne per se, but the specific inclusion of 2% salicylic acid positively keeps acne away.  I had to remind myself to go gently with the scrublet, and to clean it religiously, but after four days of using it, my latest break-out begin to gracefully recede into the past.

And when I sweep on my retinoid now, the cotton pad comes up snowy white.

We are giving away one L’Oreal 360 Cleanser to a lucky winner. Simply leave a comment below telling us what facial cleanser you’re currently using to be considered (US only please).

Review, Swatches, Skincare, Makeup Trends, 2019, 2020: Best Labor Day Sales 2019!

Labor Day weekend is upon us! And, you know what that means – it’s time …

  1. neutrogena pink grapefruit acne wash

  2. Currently I’m using Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple cleanser. It works, but I’m always looking for something better…

  3. This product works really well. It smells great and leaves my face with a very refreshed feeling after use. I am currently using L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser and Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion. I wash my face with L’Oreal and put the lotion on afterwards. My skin looks so much better now.

  4. Thanks for writing such an easy-to-understand atlrice on this topic.

  5. I used Made from Earth’s Grapefruit Glycolic Scrub at night…as recommended by my friend with AMAZING skin. When I woke up in the morning, I rushed to the bathroom mirror to look at my face. I have occasional acne, mainly on my forehead and chin regions. I will be completely honest; I was actually surprised that my skin had healed itself considerably during the night.

Needless to state, Made from Earth’s Grapefruit Glycolic Scrub did the trick! My skin’s appearance looked more refined, and my pores seemed to be smaller. It was almost like the facial cleanser had took all of the toxins out of my face and had healed it during the night. I have continued using the product for over a month now, and I still have a good third of the bottle left, which I think is great.
