Anti-aging skincare products are something that you might not be thinking about at the moment depending upon what stage of your life you’re in – however, these types of products are so important to prevent premature aging! I was super excited to test out the Ceramiracle First Light The Serum. This product retails for $89.00 and is available on the Ceramiracle website. You do get a little bit of a discount if you purchase more than one bottle.

Let me tell you a little bit about this product. First Light The Serum is a phytosqualane based 95% active beauty concentrate containing natural actives inspired by the vernix caseosa – the thick, white wax-like substance that coats babies for weeks before they are born. The Serum mimics the intense hydration and skin nourishing and protective properties of the vernix to bring back baby soft skin. Just a few drops will instantly revitalize skin, refresh, and smooth your complexion. You can use it on its own or with a moisturizer for firmer, radiant, toned, and younger looking skin.

The Serum uses PhytoVernix science with Wakame stem cell structure, white lupin seed and phytoceramides. Bonus points – this product contains no fragrance, parabens, phthalates, sulphates, parabens, mineral oil, petroleum derivatives, glycols, silicones, or PEGS. It is 100% made for humans and never tested on animals!

Key ingredients in First Light The Serum have been clinically shown to improve skin hydration and reduce TEWL, firm skin and tighten pores, and visibly reduce wrinkles.

One of the groundbreaking features of The Serum is one of its key ingredients – the Wakame cell culture. This is the world’s first active ingredient for cosmetic application. It is a patented rare marine treasure and clinically proven nutrient powerhouse. Within 24 hours, it protects the skin at the cellular level and inherited maternal genes.

To use this product, simply apply 3-5 drops to cleansed skin and gently massage to infuse over entire face. Alternatively, you can mix the droplets into your favorite moisturizer of choice and apply as directed.

Ingredients:

For background, I have oily, acne-prone skin. I do have larger pores in certain areas, such as my cheeks and nose. I don’t suffer from a lot of wrinkles or fine lines but I do notice some around my eye area.

The first thing I noticed about this product was that you really don’t need to use a lot of it at one time! A little bit goes a long way with The Serum. I applied this before my moisturizer all over my face, including the area near my eyes where I have a little bit of fine lines. I used this both in the morning and in the evening. It absorbs quickly into the skin, which I can appreciate because you don’t have to wait long in order to apply the rest of your skincare products, i.e. moisturizer, primer, foundation, etc. I also didn’t find that adding this into my skincare routine in the morning affected my makeup in any way. By that, I mean that it didn’t cause me to become oily faster or my makeup to wear down and breakup.

I could immediately feel a difference in my skin just after using it overnight. I woke up after the first night of using it and my skin felt super soft, supple, and hydrated. I don’t think I have been using it long enough to notice any visible changes in the fine lines around my eyes but the product is an amazing boost to your moisturizer and really makes your skin look “alive.” I know that sounds a little cliche but I found after using it consistently, my skin had a little bit of a natural glow to it. This product is going to be perfect for me, particularly in the winter time when my skin tends to be a little more dry and dull looking. Also to note – I do feel that this product helped shrink the pores that are on my nose. They seem to be a little less noticeable to me so I’m hoping with continued use, I will see even better results.

I must also comment on the packaging. This product feels very luxurious. The bottle has quite a bit of weight to it and is very sleek. I love the applicator as well. You push down on the top and the serum soaks up into the dropper. It makes it easy to count out the drops and dispense a very precise amount of product so you won’t waste anything.

Overall, I’m really enjoying this product, especially now that I am starting to become a little more intrigued by all of the different skincare products that are on the market. I’m actually excited to try out other products that Ceramiracle has in their line.
