According to Neova, the NEW! Copper Moisture Mask works by “penetrating Copper Peptide therapy [is] designed for in-office facial treatments,” which makes it sound like it is for professional rather than home use. Neova claims the mask, “replenishes depleted moisture with potent Copper Peptide Complex, diminishing visible signs of fine lines and wrinkles and leaving skin feeling smooth and soft.”
More specifically, it is said to supply the skin with a powerful dose of copper micronutrition, also hydrating and improving skin’s texture and appearance, as well as diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The key ingredient is a Copper Peptide Complex®, which is also known as Bis (Tripeptide-1) Copper Acetate, that uses the body’s natural protective carrier to deliver proprietary copper peptides — an essential micronutrient for skin health. For maximum restorative benefits, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is said to aid in adding moisture to the skin.

I did try this at home. The mask is a clear, cooling gel that I spread on my (cleansed) face and let dry for about 10-20 minutes. Then, I washed it off with warm water. The application felt very pleasant and invigorating; it was easy enough to remove in a warm shower. I followed up with my usual nighttime moisture routine. In the morning, my skin looked and felt great — so soft, smooth and supple. This is an excellent product and I will be using it 2-3 times a week in the future! For more info., go to: www.neova.com.
