NEUTROGENA HEALTHY SKIN Anti-Aging Perfector, $14.09, is a newly-introduced tinted moisturizer that combines Retinol, SPF 20 moisturizer and blendable, sheer coverage. The NEUTROGENA HEALTHY SKIN Anti-Aging Perfector is said to help “even tone and instantly erase the look of imperfections.” It is enriched with Retinol,which smooths skin’s texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines. With Broad Spectrum SPF 20, it is perfect for everyday use.
I was sent three shades to sample and found that Ivory to Fair worked best for me. (The others were Tan to Medium and Medium to Deep.) At first, I was a bit apprehensive because the product contains Retinol, which happens to be irritating to my skin. But the amount was clearly limited because I did not experience any of the redness or welts that I have experienced with such products before.
It provides excellent coverage and even offers sun protection. I used it in place of foundation and was very pleased with the results—my face looked finished, but natural too. While the product did even out my skin tone, it did not appear to reduce the appearance of fine lines. But it is still a great product at a great price—thanks for another winner, Neutrogena!

Formulated with highly concentrated Accelerated Retinol SA, this advanced corrector works “to renew the look of skin, brightening skin’s tone and help fade stubborn dark spots and discoloration, revealing noticeably more even, younger looking skin in just one week,” yet it is also gentle enough for all skin types.
Accelerated Retinol SA is a unique combination of Retinol SA, Glucose Complex and Hyaluronic Acid brought together to create a fast retinol formula. When combined with Vitamin C, these formulas work quickly to help provide increased clarity and brighter skin in just 1 week. The product is said to:

Once again, the Retinol was a cause for concern but my skin was able to tolerate this product without any problem. I used it daily under my moisturizer (and make up) for a month and was delighted to see that yes, some of the dark spots (sun damage from decades-ago tanning) were lightened and minimized. Wow—I am hooked! I plan to continue using this product in the future and to make it an integral part of my daily routine.

Accelerated Retinol SA Retinol SA works to continuously renew the look of skin throughout the day, helping to smooth wrinkles fast and diminish the look of age spots. Neutrogena says that, “Retinol SA is scientifically proven superior to other forms of Vitamin A, such as Pro-Retinol and Retinyl Palmitate, in its ability to penetrate the skin’s surface.” Additionally, the product contains Glucose Complex, a Retinol SA booster that accelerates skin’s surface activity for rapid results on the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as Hyaluronic Acid, which adds line plumping moisture to hydrate, replenish and rejuvenate the look of skin. The product is suited for all skin types and gentle enough for daily use.

I used these two products in tandem for a couple of weeks. Since my skin is sensitive to Retinol, I had some concerns but happily enough, the formula really was gentle and I experienced no problems at all. The Daily Moisturizer is another one of Neutrogena’s stellar products, offering an easy to use, easy to blend moisturizer with the added benefit of SPF 30. Loved how it left my skin soft and receptive for foundation, blush etc. The nighttime moisturizer also had a smooth, easy application and left my skin very soft and fresh the next day. It was not too greasy, which is always a plus.
I did not notice a marked difference in terms of lines/discoloration (though the Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair Dark Spot Corrector, referenced above, really seemed to make a difference in that area!) but perhaps continued use would yield more visible results. In any case, it is my view that Neutrogena consistently offers great, high-performing products at very wallet-friendly prices and I will continue to use—and love!—what they make.
