I am on my second bottle of Beauty Stat’s Universal C Skin Refiner and I am very pleased!

First off, I prefer the consistency of this product over watery C serums. I am excited that it’s more potent than other C’s, since I am very convinced that vitamin C is an essential staple to one’s skin care routine. I also appreciate the fact that if I knock the jar over, I won’t need to watch my expensive serum go down the drain! Seriously, that’s happened to me more times than I care to admit. I was so eager to see results but it was stinging my skin.

I contacted the company and they told me to use it once a day and just a small amount. That worked. Into the third week the pump stopped working and I knew it was more in the bottle. I got frustrated trying to beat it out and finally threw it away. Too much money to have product break. So I never saw an improvement as I so wanted too!

Great product, but half way through the pump stopped working. Very expensive product should have a better delivery system.

My questions are exactly how much to apply per application and can I carefully use this on eyelid area? I have discoloration on the lids due to sun exposure in my youth. I bought this product a month ago after reading about it in Allure magazine and online. I can not believe what it’s done to my skin. Pores look tighter, smoother skin and my skin tone is so much more even. I mean ridiculous results in a couple of weeks. But.. I am not happy with the brand’s customer service. They were sold out and taking pre-orders and I wanted to stock up and buy a couple of bottles but no one could tell me when my samples would ship. Literally did not hear back from them for 3 days! I first read about this product in Allure magazine. Then read the reviews online and then decided to buy it. Best decision I ever made. Product is thicker in texture than i expected but it blended into my skin so smoothly. Literally weightless on skin leaving kind of a matte finish. Tingled a little bit which makes sense given the 20% pure Vitamin C. But my skin is starting to get more even and texture is way more smooth. I’m telling all my friends about it.

I have lots of dark spots/hyperpigmentation from all the sun damage I incurred in my youth, using baby oil. The high percentage of Vitamin C in this formula puts it in a category of its own. I have oily, aging but dehydrated skin and it’s not sensitive. But I definitely felt just a bit of a tingle upon application. There is a slight fragrance, as an FYI for those who are sensitive. Also, if you have sensitive skin, I would use it every other day or mix it with another moisturizer until your skin gets used to it. It absorbs beautifully, with a matte but moisturized finish (I say with a huge sigh of relief!). The airtight pump packaging thus protecting the active ingredients also makes it a stellar product.

I do feel like I need to use it for a few months to see a significant difference; after all, these dark spots were years in the making! I used it as directed, twice a day, followed by SPF (an absolute must!). The bottle only lasted about 2 1/2 weeks which was a bit of a disappointment, hence the loss of a star. But otherwise an absolute gem!

I have dry and sensitive skin this refiner works for me. Before trying the Universal C skin refiner I have never tried a moisturizer that is so light weight feels nothing on the skin. It absorbs very quickly in to the skin and gives smooth and soft skin. No smell at all it is unscented and texture is very different than other moisturizer. I love this skin refiner it is very unique and different, works in amazing way vitamin C as an ingredient helps reduce dark and uneven skin tone. I can see after using it for a week my skin tone has been improved.

I am super impressed with this product. It has given me a youthful feeling to my face. Are use it every morning and every night before bed for the last few weeks. At first I was a little worried because it felt a little oily so I was scared it would make my feels face feel really oily. It did not make my face for oily at all. I have been using the Universal C Skin Refiner for about one month and my skin is already showing the benefits from it, I neither remember when was the last time my skin felt and looked this good, brighter and refreshed.

I religiously use it morning and evening (as directed) under my moisturizer and/or sunscreen, it has a lightweight and silky texture, that is absorbed easily on the skin.

What I am more impressed about this product is how it smoothes texture, decreases skin roughness and dryness, it has been the lifesaver for my pretty lifeless skin.

I was sent this for review and used 2x daily as the instructions indicated. I’m a licensed esthetician and am always interested in trying new and innovative products.

This feels silky yet not greasy and a little goes a long way. One caveat: if your skin is very dry use a small amount and perhaps just at night. You’ll also want to incorporate a sun protection product as well. It helped to resurface my skin and faded some hyperpigmentation on my face. A patch test is also a good idea if you lean sensitive. It also layers nicely under moisturizer as well.
