Laura Mercier has launched new shades to her already best-selling Crème Smooth Lip Color ($26.00) range. Fourteen new shades have been added to the eighteen already in the line.
I am very picky about my lipsticks. I will be honest. Even I have a hard time spending $26.00 for a lipstick. But, let me tell you, these are worth it! When I received two shades to try, I had to hide them from my mother! Even she loves Laura Mercier lip products.

If you regularly read my articles, some of you already know that I have worked in the retail trenches for twenty years; I have had the opportunity to try just about every lipstick on the department store floor. Only a few I would spend my hard-earned money on, and Laura Mercier, as I had mentioned, is one of them.

I love that they don’t have any scent. The lipstick is neither too hard or too soft, and it applies effortlessly. They wear very well and feel comfortable on the lips. I dislike lipsticks that are too creamy or too dry. Kind of like jeans you’re constantly futzing with, who wants to keep checking themselves every five minutes?
With Laura’s products, none of that is necessary. On my lips you can see two gorgeous spring shades: Girly (pink) and Palm Beach (coral). Well, there you have it: my little love fest for Laura’s Crème Smooth Lip Colors.
