I first opened the bottle to live in love and was struck by its beautiful design. From the faceted topper to the shape of the bottle, its lines are clean and elegant. The bottle was conceived and designed by Oscar de la Renta himself.
It was said that the design is meant represent the many dimensions of a woman’s life. THAT I can surely identify with. Writer, daughter, aunt, friend, artist… the list goes on and on. Okay, I was captivated by the bottle and message, but how about the actual scent?
I sprayed the perfume and one of my roommates immediately came running in…”What is that you sprayed — it’s gorgeous!” Enough said. The perfume is light, sweet and romantic; suitable for an evening with your man, or if you want to be more fragrant at work. I would say it’s for everyone from young to old. You can’t put an age on the scent like you can with certain other fragrances.
The top notes in the perfume are sparkling ginger, bergamot, hyacinth and green muguet. The middle notes are floral jasmine, sambac, orange flower and rose. And last but not least, the scent dries down to a base musk, intertwined with amber and sandalwood.
