The makeup look of the 2015 Oscars was definitely an emphais on a sexy cat eye or bold beautiful lips!
Actress Jessica Chastain wore a brown smoky cat eye that looked gorgeous against her flawless porcelin skin, created by makeup artist Kristofer Buckle using Kiehl’s products.
Singer Rita Ora always has flawless makeup and did not disappoint last night. The singer and Brand Ambassador for Rimmel London wore a navy satin strapless Marchessa gown with metallic embellishment paired with sleek modern hair. To compliment her look, Kathy Jeung wanted to do a classic makeup look with a twist: a cat eye with navy eyeliner instead of the usual black. The look was completed with long lush lashes, contouring, bronzer, soft pink blush and a satin texture nude lip. For Rita’s eyes, Kathy used Rimmel London ScandalEyes Thick and Thin Liquid Pen Eyeliner and Rimmel ScandalEyes Shadow Stick in Naughty Navy over the black liner along the upper lash line. Next, Kathy finished Rita’s eyes with Rimmel London Wonder’lash Mascara with Argan Oil in Black. To complete this look, Kathy used Provocalips in Dare to Pink.
Famed makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, created actress Sienna Miller’s look. The American Sniper star wore Charlotte’s Rock ‘N’ Kohl Eye Pencil in Bedroom Black and The Feline Flick Quick Fine Line Shodo Pen over the lash line to dramatically define the eyes. Using the Eye Smudger Brush and The Eyeshadow Luxury Palette in The Sophisticate, and Full Fat Lashes, Charlotte accentuated Sienna’s “winged” eyes, focusing on the crease and lash line areas.
Showstopper Lady Gaga went for full glam for last night’s award show. NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Sarah Tanno to create the look. “For the red carpet we decided on a classic red lip and clean, radiant skin. I used NARS Jungle Red Lip Liner and Dragon Girl Velvet Matte Lip Pencil for this polished look.”
Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen , and actress Naomi Watts both stunned in a creamy wine colored lipstick paired with lovely wavy hair.
In contrast to the red lip some stars opted for a more subdued and classic pout. Lupita Nyongo had lips prepped with Kiehl’s Lip Balm followed by Lancome Le Lipstique Lip Coloring Stick in Sheer Chocolate and L’Absolu Rouge Lipcolor in Aubergine Velvet.
