Paul & Joe has just launched new limited-edition products for summer 2015 including nail polishes and eye shadows.
If you love nude nails, the Paul & Joe polish line is for you. I tried Crème de Cacao, which is a sophisticated beige shade. It’s perfect for the office because of its subtle color; the shade is not too light and not too dark – it’s the perfect nude shade in my opinion. I can also see this shade being great to transition into fall. The price for each polish is $16.
If you aren’t a huge fan of nudes, don’t fret. This line also has four other shades, which are brighter and great for summer: Crushed Grapes (dark purple), Annatto (orange-red), Dragon Fruit (tropical pink), and Bitter Lime (yellow-green).
I found that this polish applied smooth and creamy. The colors are opaque with just one coat. I usually apply two coats for my manicures, and did so with this polish as well. I absolutely love it! In addition, these polishes contain organic jojoba oil, olive oil, and safflower oil to give you strong healthy nails.
The stunning little eye shadow duos are inspired by the hues of the spectacular Spanish skies. I tried Ole, which is a dynamic duo of bold blue and pigmented pink. I applied the pink shade all over the lid, inner corner, and inner half of the lower lash line. I put the blue shade on the outer half of the lower lash line – I love this look. The pop of blue on the lower lash line is perfect for spring and summer looks. These shadows are highly pigmented!
There are two other duos in this line: Mambo Mambo (bronze and gold) and Argentine Tango (deep plum and gold). Both would create lovely summer looks for day or night. These shadows contain hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, orange flower water, rose hip extract, and white lily extract. I also love that the lighter shades are in the larger half of the duo, which is perfect because we tend to run out of the lighter shades faster! These eye shadows retail for $28.
