I’m no stranger to some fabulous haircare brands, but I will admit this is my first time trying out Color Proof products. Specifically formulated for color treated hair, Color Proof is a line of high end products made with the most up to date ingredients. Boasting everything from hydrating shampoos to texturizing sprays, I was more than excited to bring two styling favorites into my haircare regimen. Testing out the Hard Core Epic Hold Color Protect Hairspray and RuleBreaker Firm Flexible Wax, check out just how these goodies transformed my tresses.
Before
I have my haircare must-haves, but hairspray usually isn’t one of them. Hairspray can be a big turnoff to me, being that some products smell overpowering and can leave your hair totally stiff. However, unlike the sprays of my past, the Hard Core Epic Hold Color Protect Hairspray ($23) is definitely in a class of it’s own.

Containing a multitude of benefits, this standout spray contains UVA/UVB protection, color fade protection and amazing natural hold.
And delivering a very pleasing aroma with an essence of tropical citrus, it was definitely love at first spray.

Amongst many other styling products, the Rulebreaker Firm Flexible Wax ($24) is used to tousle, texturize, define and control the hair. Waxes usually aren’t my thing, but I was more than impressed with this product. Making my hair way more manageable, it was really was neat to work this citrus-smelling product into my hair, which I definitely liked. And available to use in a multitude of ways, some additional benefits include non-dulling, heat and color protection.
Overall, I was a fan of both of these new releases. I definitely feel the creators went above and beyond to make a superior product with much more benefits unlike anything else on the market today.
